At least, this is what I told Mrs HB to justify spending the thick end of $600 on the two colourways

Two things ...Hubble have you got a link that works to the form we can fill in to reclaim the 75% fee....?
Secondly Framing....can a few of us mail MrFrameman and get a job lot discount....? Anyone else on for this....the plain white box frame would work well....?

Nu Art -- you could well be right, but the last time I checked a p***s wasn't used solely in gay relationships

Point two first... yes, I'm in for the MFM deal. I'll mention it to him when next emailing
Point one... go to search2.hmrc.gov.uk/kb5/hmrc/forms/home.page
Input the form code BOR286 (that's a letter 'O', not a zero) and download the resulting (one page) form. It's very straightforward. Give as much info as you can and ensure you've saved customs forms that came on the packaging etc. The import code that our imports qualify for 5% VAT under is 9702 00 00 - limited edition print hand pulled by the artist in limited numbers. Specify the print run etc.
Hope this helps

Steve Powers πΊπΈ ESPO β’ New York Street Art β’ New Release, by Mister Frame Man on Mar 14, 2012 9:35:16 GMT 1, Could potentially do something on these but would need at least x10 to make it work.
They would then have to be supplied as "fit yourself" frames.
Or, I could do a deal on us fitting etc with the print being float mounted or window mounted for Β£125.........But again I would need 10x for the offer to work.

Gary,
I'm a bit slow. What does this mean and would this offer work if it had to be posted overseas to me in Belfast ?
Thanks

Steve Powers πΊπΈ ESPO β’ New York Street Art β’ New Release, by connecta1 on Mar 14, 2012 13:07:46 GMT 1, Mace: Float-mounted, mounted directly onto some backing-board, ie. you can see the edges of the paper
Window-mounted, edges are flattened against the backing-board by the mount, (mount acts as a 'window' for the print).
Elwheel: I'm guessing the frame-it-yourself option would work in the same way as the Obey frames we've been ordering from Gary. Made to measure for the size of the print (so you don't need to send the print off to him first), UV glass with a fillet around the edges to lift the glass off the print, no need for a mount and maybe a catch on the back-board so you can take prints in and out easily
Not sure what the exact postage situation would be for Belfast, but this is the arrangement we came to for the Obey offer:

Steve Powers πΊπΈ ESPO β’ New York Street Art β’ New Release, by chaturz on Mar 14, 2012 14:17:03 GMT 1, If these ready made frames are made to frame to edge would it be possible to get coloured spacers (i.e. for fit yourself)? as that would look awesome on these prints with a white box frame imo. In any case I have 2 (one in each colour way) and I am keen, is anyone organising this or do we message Gary individually?
