Those wheels scare me. I think they were recalled. The carbon spokes can break easily. If you are descending at the time it could be really bad news.

I know - you have to check the carbon's integrity after every ride 
There have been horror stories of the carbon spokes splitting and locking the bike into a summersault...

It looks epic! (must stop copying the lingo of my 8 year old)
For me a real heart in mouth moment is in part3 @ 7:25 in.Riding that track hard and fast and very little room for error else it's over the cliff you go!
Another year closer to 40 yesterday and I've come to the conclusion I care more about mpg en route to a ride rather than the gnarl content.Also happier to shoot footage of my mates than catching air these days, simply can't justify explaining plaster casts at my time of life

Absolutely love this, only short travel (100mm) hardtail, but I like it as makes you move about on the bike more and look down the trail, avoid the square-edge rocks rather than the suspension take them on! Looking for a Patriot frame to build up this winter ready for next summer when I can get out more when the Boy is a bit more than 10months old!  Shot of one of the local rides for me in the Lake District. This is up at Whinlatter Forest 
Hey I'm selling this frame with rock shox tora forks for ยฃ200 if anyone is interested?
It's 21" solid frame no dents etc, but I would however describe it as "battle-scarred"!
Might have some other bits for sale of it too if any interest- offers
Hope tech x2 front brake with 183mm floating rotor

I have 2 bikes, Orange Evo 4 with full XT throughout and slicks (i ride to work on it) and i bought an Orange Pro 5 last year. Once you go full suss for XC you'll never go back to the hardtail

I was supposed to move to a full sus myself but popped in to the shop to pick up a couple of inner tubes about 18 months ago and ended up leaving with that bike. It's a real stunner, quite a rubbish pic, just a quick one I took whilst I was waiting for a friend to finish making adjustments to his bike.

I'll put some music on and maybe watch the tv (might even put on Tour De France) but after 10 minutes I'm just bloody bored !
I like the look of that Tacx one where you have a screen and the bike will incline when the road on the screen goes up but that's mega bucks.
I've got a Verenti Rhigos .02 as my racing days are behind me and hope to get into Cycosportives now.
