Collecting Pottery & Ceramics, by jfury on Dec 27, 2007 13:23:25 GMT 1, Can anyone recommend any sculpture or pottery artists?...interested in the more contemporary artists...the sort of stuff forum members on here would be into.
I have seen stuff on the pottery side by Neate, Dan Baldwin and sculptures by micallef just wondered of any other artists out there I should have I look at?.....oh and the banksy Rat at Laz is out of my price range!
I know nothing in the area so any help would be much appreciated.

Can't for the life of me remember the name of the artist, but it was solid bronze and was a man with angel wings. Was quite giacomatti like.

Cheers CR...unreal that was the peice the got me thinking about getting a sculpture!....yeah I have seen this in a gallery place in canary wharf and some gallery in the west end think it was an issue of 95 for about ยฃ895.00 I think. Showed it to the Mrs and she wasnt massively impressed... but I think its cool and looks really good in real life....I might go have another look!

I didn't get one though, Lady Rattus made my mind up for me on that. If you like the Charles Kraft, you might hunt out Beth Brown who does beautiful ceramics in a similar style.
