Collecting Pottery & Ceramics, by Art Collector 11 on Jan 14, 2023 15:12:26 GMT 1, Ceramics such as Pablo Picasso Madoura Ceramics are becoming very popular at the moment. Sotheby’s is selling them at reasonable prices but they are still going for 4 times the price that they were selling for ten years ago. I believe since Picasso made different edition sizes, 600+ unique pieces and some from editions of 100 and some from editions of 500, prices may vary. There are various pieces to buy, vases are the most expensive in general, with plates, tiles and smaller ash trays going for cheaper. Ash trays are the cheapest. There are many great examples online of how To display these pieces in floated frames. Best of luck!

Still some of the most underrated Picasso or ceramic pieces in general.

Collecting Pottery & Ceramics, by its all about me on Jan 14, 2023 17:36:04 GMT 1, I've always found Katherine Morling's work quite interesting. Her black and white porcelain pieces have a rather whimsical Alice-in-wonderland feel to them. Her work often appears in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. www.katharinemorling.com/sculptures/falling

DAVID BRUCE Infinity Banana Glazed ceramic, 2022 30 x 15 cm € 3.250,00
David Bruce (1977) is a visual artist from Paris working from his studio in Liege. He discovered graffiti at the age of 14 while commuting to different basketball courts to play with other kids. On the trains he would then see silver-coloured graffiti pieces and get inspired by these moving artworks. His first works were on the train tracks, but he wanted to see his works "traveling", and so he started spraying the trains himself. "Graffiti pieces on trains are spontaneous and fast." There is only a small amount of time before the train starts moving again, so the graffiti artists have to use only a few cans at a fast pace while still making a visual impact. It is like a sport, which reflects in his visual references of various sports balls. His graffiti style carries over in David Bruce's studio works, where David combines acrylics and oils with his trademark spray cans. Together this creates a flat, playful style that is colorfull and pleasing to the eye. Since 2022, David has been an artist in residence at Nike, while simultaneously shown in various cities throughout Europe. While his work translates well to murals and streetwear, the beauty is truly emphasised by the canvases. David Bruce has also e x p l o r e d o t h e r m e d i um s i n c l u d i n g sculptures, showing the creative versatility of him as an artist.

Don't know about 'post Your new art', I'm afraid.
But all the cool other stuff is easy to locate.
If having difficulties, could there be an issue with your web browser?
Maybe try shutting down your computer and then restarting it again.
__________
In case it makes any difference, I'm using Firefox, and the Search options are working fine on my laptop.
These step-by-step instructions may also assist:
1. From the UAA homepage, just beneath the advertising banners and rows headed New Posts and New Threads, you should be able to spot the following four rows / subsection headings:
- Urban Art • Street Art - Art For Sale - Urban Art Auctions - Framing • Art Restoration
2. Click any of the four subsection headings (it doesn't matter which one, because the end result is conveniently always the same).
This will take you to a new page.
3. Now, make sure you've scrolled all the way up the screen.
4. Can you see the very first thread, which has been helpfully prioritised?
Its title includes a reference to "TOP 10".
That is where all the cool stuff is found on the forum.

Have to say that photo really makes me think the shift to the red from the orange was justified. Hope it looks like that in real life - agree the lack of transparency is a pleasant surprise!

Is it big in the UK? It has all the characteristics to be the next big thing in the US.
