Parla Watercolour, by lobster on Aug 15, 2009 13:20:21 GMT 1, much appreciated mate - tell me how to do i and I will (!!) apologies but I am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to computers ? Interestingly I HAVE managed to mail it a couple of members no problem (including Harveyn) but for some reason with Wiz the message just bounces back ? So if anyone who I have sent it to can post it then please feel free. When trying to post it I click on the "browse" button then click on the picture on my PC BUT The computer keeps "crashing" before it is added ?
Just to reiterate despite what the t**t who thinks he is "straight outta Compton" thinks (and lets face it - its odds on he lives with his parents in Buckinghamshire ?) this is the only reason that I am not posting the pic - not some Machiavellian scheme to keep Parlas work "elitist" !!! For what its worth I own a Parla canvas myself and think the guy is great but quite understand it is of course very subjective but why do I have to get this agg when I am trying to sell a picture ? I wouldn`t dream of going on someone else`s for sale thread and telling them how bad the artist is ?
Anyway still for sale and while the drama of posting the pic continues then please feel free to PM me for pics.

Parla Watercolour, by lobster on Aug 14, 2009 9:13:23 GMT 1, again - thanks very much indeed for that -
I am SURE their is something that interests me less than your opinion on Parla but at the moment I cant think of anything ?

Parla Watercolour, by lobster on Aug 13, 2009 23:15:02 GMT 1, ummm ... OK !!!
I actually DID have problems posting a pic and I assume it would have been the case if I were trying to post ANY pic !!!
Every time I put my pic in the "attachments" line it took ages to post then evenytually crashed ? I have sent the picture to Wiz in the hope that he can post it ?
Just to reiterate I DID try and post , the watercolour is up for sale , it looks great and is realistically priced.

Parla Watercolour, by lobster on Aug 13, 2009 9:08:04 GMT 1, JB - if you READ the post after it says "cash either way" - so if a signed Banksy then depending on what it is then it may need cash added to it OR a Banksy canvas again need Cash but from the sellers end and indeed a LOT of cash but for the right deal then trust me that would not be a problem.
If you are GENUNINELY interested then I am happy to send you pictures but frankly if you are just trying to look clever and "score points" why don t you do me and yourself a favour and just mind your own business ?

Wanted Donut, by lobster on Jul 30, 2009 17:08:48 GMT 1, Obviously didn`t win one in the lottery but happy to pay cash on top of original price.
Not sure what they will go for but someone mentioned somewhere between CT and S&S which I think is a good shout.
Will pay £1400 CASH - happy to pay a deposit now and balance when print arrives.
Many thanks

Banksy Kate Moss Print, by lobster on Jul 28, 2009 22:02:22 GMT 1, Ive been after one of these for a while and came close last month to getting a deal done but the guy (suprise) turned out to be a fantasist.
I think your about right on the prices but from my experience you have them the wrong way round - the original colourway (much like the soup cans) although it is a larger edition tends to fetch more money.
I am looking to pay £20K for the original and around £15K for the colours - apologies for highjacking the thread but if anyone has one at around this money then please PM me.

Artnet Auctions 🇺🇲, by lobster on Jul 21, 2009 9:21:33 GMT 1, As a VERY new buyer of urban art I use artnet a lot for prices and think the product is excellent.
The prices though in this "auction" are frankly a joke and you should actually get a prize if you can find ANY Bansky that you can`t buy for less than the opening bid let alone the estimates.
With the excellent "Pest Control" certifactes in place - why not buy from forums such as these which will undoubtedly save you money and as long as the items have PC is just as secure ?

newbie question, by lobster on Jun 16, 2009 13:56:26 GMT 1, Nic - I think Richy makes some great points.
There really are LOTS of signed prints you can get for £3K and if I were you I would go for one of the older images as opposed to Nola / S&S.
Grin Reaper would be a great shout but for £3K you SHOULD be able to pick up a signed "placard" Rat - these are editions of only 75 and look fantastic as well as being synonomus with Banksy.Soup Cans would be another option or possibly a "Gold Flag" - lovely print with a great story behind it.
Again I would get Gary (Mr FMAN) to frame it - he is excellent value and picks up / delivers and his work is first class - you will be looking around £200 ish for "normal" glass and add around £150 for "museum" but spk to Gary and he will help advise you.
In terms of investment I think (like me!!) you have very much "missed the boat" HOWEVER in say 10 years time the £3K you spend now MAY seem very cheap ?
The best I would give is to repeat what others have said- buy what YOU like and then you will never be dissapointed ?
