The dimensional editions are batoned out at the back with about 2cm deep aluminium so they are ready to hang and come with fixings. The hug and nude float about 2cm off the wall which looks great.
They are both fantastic pieces in the flesh. There is no dimensional aspect to either, they are both completely flat. It basically a printed image sandwiched between a layer of aluminium and a layer of Perspex. The top of the Perspex on both pieces has been screenprinted with colour highlights. These give a slight shadow onto the image when light is applied giving a slight dimensional aspect.
They are really something between a print and an original. I think they are amazing value as the quality and finish is superb, great pieces of modern art. Quite a few hug have sold I think, nude too but slightly less.
I am saving for an original right but if that doesn't pan out I will definitely buy these two...
By the way the poster are awesome, the Perspex bit is printed in uv gloss which makes it look dimensional and fantastic for a tenner!

Pretty sure that if you're eligable to be VAT exempt you can claim it back after purchase? (or at least I'd assume you could, in the same way as you can at an airport when leaving the country)
It's a subject that's come up before, but never clear. In theory we should all be getting stuff cheaper when buying from outside our tax zone... but it doesn't happen !

Awesome originals they were a different class really really stunning. Spent along time talking to Paul who was good enough to take me through each piece and its concept.
Really superb time there. Their new site is now live if you go into exhibitions you can go way back and see loads of his shows from over the years. Really good job
