Paper Monster is very excited to announce the release of new original works by Faile. To be released Wednesday October 30th, Around 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time.
Arists Patrick Miller and Patrick Mcneil (Faile) have created an amazing set of unique book covers, featuring imagery from their recent show Les Ballets de Faile at Lincoln Center in connection with the New York City Ballet. Each book cover is unique, featuring hand silk screened images, overtop collaged paper, float mounted in a white frame. These works showcase the high level of craftmanship Faile takes into every one of their works. See below for more preview and process photos.

seeing it now just gave me chills.
when i first started shooting street art (2005), i came across a rusted wall/fence with remnants of what then looked like some sort of jesus, or rasta jesus...it was one of the first images i shot. one of the reasons i started getting into the movement, and shooting decayed street art in the first place. for years i wondered who the artist was that did it. i had suspected, but never knew it was faile, as there was a rusty bast-looking piece next to it.

Hope this finds you well and enjoying some beautiful Fall weather. Been a busy time once again in the studio. We are preparing for Deluxx Fluxx in Miami Beach and look forward to presenting this during the Art Basel week in Miami. As always it should be a pretty crazy show.
In the mean time, we’ve finished a new set of original Book Covers. These are always special works for us, this set focusses on the images created from the Ballet series. These are composed of collaged paper and silkscreen on found book covers. These are all unique works. They have also been float-mounted in a nice white oak frame, ready to hang.
The Book Covers will be released via Papermonster.net at Noon (NYC Time) today/tomorrow (depending where you are) Wednesday, October 30th. The Papermonster.net site is Buy Now. If the artwork is already in a cart, you will see a timer running showing how long until the work will be released from a cart. Once you see the timer run out please refresh the page. The site will give you ten minutes to check out before it will reset the cart. Please be patient with the site, we hope everything will run smooth as significant work was done to make the site more stable.
We'll have one other print release coming up this year. This will be a block style print and should be happening towards the end of November. Just in time to receive it for the Holidays. We’ll keep you posted on this and all the Deluxx Fluxx activities in a few more weeks.

I owe my daughter a piece of art too, fingers crossed I get lucky but not holding out any hope with papermonsters website!

And so from their newsletter no more 150 prints this year, just a block print to follow.
So I guess no low editions from the new Deluxx Fluxx either which is disappointing.
