Unfortunately they only sold 48 of the 50 prints. Looks like 2 were held for VIPs or perhaps by the artist for friends and family?
I'd say at least 6-8 will pop up on the secondary market regardless of JLG's policy (Which someone in line said that JL could literally contact ebay and get them to take down any prints that were put up.) There were several "Couples" picking up a print each, including one girl who literally asked me "What are we in line for?" as her boyfriend/ friend came over and grabbed her to make sure she would fill out the purchase paperwork.
The originals in the show were really strong. Much better in person than on the Pre-sale link. The size alone of several of the canvas pieces was just stunning.
I got lucky and picked up a print that I'll be framing soon.
Glad I was able to get over to the show.

Its beautiful, but again, I feel like the cropping is off... A bit too close for comfort. I really really like the image though, and with creative framing it'll be just fine. |

Lolz...they aren't legally enforceable in the USA. JLG sure as heck isn't keeping track of these prints at $300 a pop. It's all for optics and making it "seem" exclusive and rare. Other larger galleries do much of the same thing for some artists, but it's a joke amongst art advisors and contemporary collectors alike. |

You bought it, it's yours, yeah flipping might grind people the wrong way but by the little baby Jesus' divinity please can we have some sanity. Is DALeast really that big an artist!?
I pity the poor buyer who gets in financial straights and all they're left with to curl up under on the streets is a DALeast limited edition print.

The guy who paid people to sit in line for him was probably between 20/50 -- 30/50.
So once these start hitting the market, look for those numbers. Wouldn't be shocked if they come up!

I have no reason to lie. In fact -- and this will be interesting. The girl behind me in line was print number 46. The two people behind her -- a couple that purchased 2 prints, one to resell, had number 47 and 48. I wouldn't be shocked if at least 2 of those three prints made it to the secondary market. Also, from the conversation I had in line with the person 2 spots in front of me, the print from eBay/LA is print number 43. Yeah agree. Lots of image for the space, doesn't quite seem to work.
