Whose work is produced poorly in comparison, the artist has the right to produce or not produce prints and these are printed without permission claiming to be the same quality but from all accounts they are not. So even the buyer receives an inferior product.

i'm all for open source art - if the artist is also openly comfortable with it (eg. banksy) if you can't do screenprint, it's ok to buy a fakey screenprint from fleabay or camden,cuz a screenprint really look nicer than an inkjet most times, if done well...( they look even better than POW's posters i would say...)

Come on think about it, this isnt art were tslking about, theres no art involved, its reproducing images and the more companys selling repro banksys in whatever shape or form the better for the banksy machine

i dont think hes claiming to be banksy;) he likes the image and it works well. I use the liita image on my banner at the top of the forum, im guessing banksy looses sleep over that as well

i think thats the problem, not enough people actually think beyond the obvious, banksy has become famous by constantly putting his images in front of people so it gets drulled in thete and becomes part of the publics phyche, thats what he does relentlessly but now hes a big name he would obviously want that to stop. Doesnt anyone get it, all these companys are doing it for him, iys helping him, i dont yhink the floershop guy is trying to get a coa and pass it off as an original. How about think before you speak?ย i think thats the problem, not enough people actually think beyond the obvious, banksy has become famous by constantly putting his images in front of people so it gets drulled in thete and becomes part of the publics phyche, thats what he does relentlessly but now hes a big name he would obviously want that to stop. Doesnt anyone get it, all these companys are doing it for him, iys helping him, i dont yhink the floershop guy is trying to get a coa and pass it off as an original. Now, you wouldnt signwrite your gallery window with 'Lazarides' or 'Andipa' etc as well as your own name innit?. i dont think hes claiming to be banksy;) he likes the image and it works well. I use the liita image on my banner at the top of the forum, im guessing banksy looses sleep over that as well
