Thanks for pointing me right, Bob, but you also prompted me to read the first few pages!  (something I didn't/don't want to do again!)

I now see it was prior to both those posts that GP stated the 99.9% sure it is not Banksy (on the other thread) so that answers my question a bit.  But I wonder if the artist had any part to play in asking for that "connection" to be said in public - it does seem with his/her initial promotion, they were clearly aiming for people to make an official Banksy connection?

I do find it odd that GP would state he never thought of Banksy (when obvious similarities were brought up in the first place on this thread), but then changed his tune a few posts later?

Then, with the knowledge that the artist was trying to associate this with Banksy on other sites, GP expressed his disappointment (obviously realising it was a little shady/dishonest), but still supported the release and didn't quash the marketing ploy.

GP was happy enough to quash the JPS connection, so how come he could not do so with Banksy?  I would have thought it far easier to be certain it is not Banksy than not JPS.

Having read the thread again, I now have more questions for GP (not sure if Outis is a man or woman (despite needing names for shipping, payment, etc), but then seems sure it is a guy a bit later,), but I'll leave it there.

I missed all the initial hoopla about this, so shouldn't drag it up again.  Too late, I know, but I was genuinely curious having liked and supported GPs first few releases.

I do see what you are saying about the forum creating this a bit, but GP's posts didn't help clear things up, when they could have done, and actually confused things a bit more.

People have said everything I am thinking and writing far better and more succinctly.

Note:  I wrote this earlier in reply to Bob, then thought better of it, but seeing your post GP, I figured I'd post it.  GP - if you truly did NOT want this to be associated with Banksy, and were made aware of the artist himself trying to do so, why didn't you quash it then and there?
