I recognize some talent. But that is just my opinion. The writing is rubbish, no talent in that, no artistic talent.
Banksy should have asked if Ralph Steadman could write that under his sketch, then it would be artistic
For the record : I am not hyping this piece, and no i have no ties to the seller! I would never spend that kind of cash on this little sketch (not without COA anyway )

Json, i've seen you write on here enough to make me think you have a decent view. This sketch is s**t come on??? Cheers mate, but it is not about if you like the sketch or if you don't like it. That is a matter of taste. But the sketch does show artistic talent. It is a quick sketch but the way lines are drawn, the way the "crisps and willies" ( Dr Plip) are being set up and the composition make me believe this has been drawn by someone who is an artist. (I haven't mentioned Banksy in any way) but if you put this sketch next to the known Banksy sketches they do look alike (in style). my 2¢ |
