A street artist that isn't stuck in a rut, refuses to be pigeonholed (or parrotholed), does what he pleases and has a high success rate. True true my main critique of so many artists here, is how little they change or innovate, I'm in awe of the ideas that banksy continues to present. The enormity of better out than in still continues to impress me to this day.

my Dad likes the latest Banksy. Which is a rare thing. I am sure this latest Banksy will please more of the general public. A well known part from the history....I just like the idea that Banksy again is using the wall itself with the alarm. Perhaps its only attention to make the work. |

Remembering that previously Picasso and many other famous artists have used sketches to pay for food and drink, he asks the young lady behind the counter whether they have any napkins.
"No." she replies.
"S**t." he says.
"Nor that. Anyway, it states clearly on the bin, no dog s**t." she says.
"Do you have any paint?" he asks.
"There's some random abandoned paint over there in the corner. Why?" she replies.
He smiles...

People confuse the Vermeer image for Banksy venturing into the fine art for Streets whereas I see it as a cheeky graffiti.
Unless of course it's about burgler alarms and noise pollution and those things going off at all hours annoying neighbours.
Like one on an industrial building wall that kept going off till I threw a brick at it.
(I wasn't burgling the building)
