Surely the bank is responsible and the bank said it was OK and canot expect the gallery to be liable for letting the print go on the word of the bank.
If the bank changed their mind later then it's the bank which created the mess.

Also to everyone who took the time to send their regards both publicly and privately, particularly .dappy for his support and advice throughout and Trevorm, who very kindly offered my little baby girl a choice of two wonderful artworks if it all went wrong.
Here's the print, that I got framed before I knew what was about to happen. Perhaps now I'll get round to getting her on the wall...

However, it is nice to hear Metropolis has been able to work something out for the duped buyer. That would certainly make me look toward Metropolis as a someone I would do business with.
