So funny, scary! ๐ณ Question to our American members here, who you you think is your best bet for President in 2024? Well all the candidates haven't announced their candidacy so who could say. Definitely not Trump, what a buffoon. And now he's in bed with the Saudis for some golf course BS. I think Biden is too old. Can you imagine the gaffs during his next term? We need someone new with bright ideas. Where's my JFK?....sounds like a good title for a new piece of art. We'll just have to wait and see. However, I do have faith in the people of this country to move us forward in a positive direction. Time will tell. |

Florida is a red state - the Dem candidate was a former Republican- the republicans are party of fascists with very few exceptions- for example the governor of Vermont is a Republican but the state legislature is dominated by Dems - the republicans nominating Trump or DeSantis - two sides of the same coin - the Dems need a โJFKโ like candidate - not sure who it will be - Biden needs to let someone else run - thatโs for sure |

Keep in mind this country is not Florida. Florida is only one small part of this country. Besides I think there are a lot of people who didn't like DeSantis using those immigrant laborers as political pawns. Hopefully, you and the rest of this nation will be able to keep an open mind during this next election and figure out what is best for all of us and not just vote along party lines. |

and as for the drive to push things - that isnโt how it works, his second term the GOP had enough control to block everything he attempted to do, much the same as they will for the next 2 years. It doesnโt matter what folk want to achieve if the opposition has more votes, preventing anything being approved. Mitch McConnel made it pretty
clear his aim was nothing got approved in Obamas second term, and sadly he was successful at it.
