The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by chads007 on Jun 26, 2016 10:50:00 GMT 1, Over 3 million now
Someone is going to have to pull the trigger to leave or it won't happen... fucked if they do and fucked if they don't. I get the indication there's a tiny possibility of someone not going through with it.
Both parties are facing internal chaos anyway and this petition will get debated.
Overturn democracy and not go ahead and face mutiny or invoke 50 and the potential chaos that goes with its consequences

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by dotdot on Jun 26, 2016 11:13:27 GMT 1, have a scan.
it's good to remember things - but if you're old enough you'd not really want to remember the past - going back in time is never easy.
sadly - it could be the future for many.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Cornish Crayon on Jun 26, 2016 11:15:49 GMT 1, I think the referendum has become an excuse for people to open big cans of worms based on small isolated incidents, If we tolerate this, then our children will be next.
I predict a riot, i predict a riot........
Just saying ..........

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Lroy on Jun 26, 2016 11:45:31 GMT 1, The petitions a great show of solidarity BUT there should be more than 2.7million....16million who voted stay + the the regretful idiots who said leave!! It's all gone to s**t. Chaos. Most (not all i may add) of those who voted to leave are in their twilight years and have never used the internet in their lives. lol FR you are in a Great form ! Ahah ! Anyway, to one Of my preferd polistik/streetartistik x friend on UAAX, do you think that now :
1. They will really prohibit me on here, ( UAA ) or social media ? Anyway I am used to be blocked, singed and/or hated..
2. Have I to sell my Stik Single mum right now before taxes and etc etc ... ( will I have to pass the border with my print hidden and stichted in my jacket as it has existed during the Russian/Us spying Cold War ) ?
3. Will eBay become a forbidden zone for all European dealers, and will be recalled Ebrayxit ?
4. In fact. , is it serious ?
Anyway Eurooe and France has always be pleased with UK, why this would change ?.,,
Ps : yeah, single mum will maybe come back soon to his single country lol ..
We have so many danger around in this world. It was not the moment, we agree...

I think the UK will get a seat at the table, and be offered pretty much any opt out we want in exchange for not officially leaving We will get free trade, control of our own boarders and immigration rules, and no money put in or taken out of the EU budget.

Have you not been watching the news? Evidently not. The EU no longer gives a fuck about the UK we are no longer included in their meetings and it has been reported by one EU official that they will be using David Cameron as a punch bag whilst THEY decide what to do next. It also appears that the 2 year exit agreement is also pie in the sky and they are not prepared for our pathetic prime minister to fanny around for 3 months deciding what HE wants to do. It is no longer up to him or us.....we're on our own. Just like you wanted it.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Daniel Silk on Jun 26, 2016 16:44:38 GMT 1, The one thing that very clear is that the Conservative and Labour parties along with most of the people posting on this thread are massively out of touch with the mood of the nation.
If you think your not out of touch, why are you so shocked by the result of the referendum?

The mood of the nation was near split evenly. So I wouldn't think any one here, in or out, was out of touch given the probability. Clearly the majority here are educated, young , enlightened and understood the information presented sufficiently enough to vote remain. I'm sorry if some of you were in the other camp and weren't convinced. And given what's come out now and the lies unravelling, I suspect the result would be very different in a second referendum.

Remain voters = Educated, Rich, Intelligent, Enlightened, Young, London. Leave voters = Uneducated, Poor, Racist, Stupid, Old, Country bumpkins.
Do you think those descriptions are correct and justified?

Try posting my opinion? That's a little rude. I can hardly be accused of not expressing an opinion. Mine was a genuine question. I didn't think you could possibly be serious. What do I think will happen? I have to confess that I do not know. But I do think that our economy will now shrink. Nearly 45% of our exports are with Europe. The EU is a single market of 5 billion relatively wealthy people (some more than others I grant you). Those exports won't suddenly all go to China or the US as some brexiters have suggested. We will need to stay in the EU common market. This will mean paying almost as much as we do now (taking into account the rebate and receipts). And we almost certainly will not have what you describe as a seat at the table. We will however be subject to the free movement of labour and EU regulations. I think london's position as the European centre of finances will be at risk, if not certainly end. This would have a massive effect on tax receipts. I think the turmoil in the two political parties will be short lived. I think the turmoil caused by a brexit (Christ I hate that term!) will be felt for decades.
You did ask!

Given what I've seen, generally, yes. Older people, those from poorer backgrounds, those without degrees, often those from rural counties tended to vote out when you check the stats. So indeed both correct and justified. General racists and xenophobes will generally not wanted anything to do with 'foreigners' and the EU. Do you have independent evidence to suggest the contrary?
