how many people = JUST ONE. how was it done = painting deleting and making photos on every single frame of the video (again, JUST ONE PERSON) how long did it took = less then one month
i said it somewhere else : for my personal taste and knowledge (i dont know that much, i just talk about what i've been able to see in these years) blu is up there with just another artist, banksy.

Blu 🇮🇹 Bologna Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by sausageboonwee on May 13, 2008 23:30:45 GMT 1, I don't own anything by Blu but quite like his work. The Tate show covers most of the summer so will probably raise his profile considerably to say the least. There are many complaints on this forum about work selling in seconds and people not being able to buy.
Currently Blu's work is not sold out anywhere, I genuinely think this is one occasion where members of this forum will kick themselves for not picking up some of his work when they had a chance. If you genuinely like his work then think about it

Blu 🇮🇹 Bologna Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Harveyn on May 13, 2008 23:52:09 GMT 1, Blu is absolutely one of my favourite street artists. I just do not get the same feeling from his prints and any originals I have seen for sale are even smaller. I would love to see some of his work on 1.5m x 1.5m canvases. Either way he is still extremely talented.

Blu 🇮🇹 Bologna Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Heavyconsumer on May 14, 2008 0:13:00 GMT 1, I think Blu is one of the most original and talented street artists around. I have been very tempted to pull the trigger on his latest print offering from Studiocromie (by far his best imo), but I'm extremely low on funds for the moment. His animations are mind-blowing and street work is superb. I reckon he'll become more sought after soon too. The Tate thing can only boost his profile massively if the work is as good as most of what we've seen from him before.

Blu 🇮🇹 Bologna Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Gentle Mental on May 14, 2008 3:53:26 GMT 1, he has far more genuine substance, and makes bigger and more original statements, than most artists that are currently hyped beyond belief.....
i think the things that are holding him back are:
1. the initial high price/large edition for his first POW release - though i still think is worth every cent - that turned a lot of street art fans off. Most like new artists to start humble and cheap.
2. some people's perception of how his work don't translate well to print (which is unfair, no print by any artist is ever going to be as good as their street work (trouble is BLU's street work is so jaw droppingly good, the gap is more obvious). BUT print vs print wise BLU's prints beat most POW releases by miles)
3. He's not "marketed" right, not striking the iron whilst it's hot.
But that's cool, he's taking the scenic route to superstardom....
He'll last longer, make a huge-er impact than the current "mona lisa" crop...LONG LIVE DA KING! IMHO

if you read his interview in Swindle, it doesn't sound like he really cares about how he's marketed... if he gets a gallery show, he's mainly concerned with getting an opportunity to do a large piece and seems like he doesn't even think his stuff works very well small (although personally, i think alot of his stuff is very clever)
