Often (as stupid as it sounds) when I speak of Andy Warhol I say David Bowie, his performance in the Basquiat film was so stunning I liken the 2 to eachother.
This, moreover, is an exhibition of the least part of his greatness.

Ironically, 'STAY' one of my all time favorites off Station to Station. I listen to PIN UPS and think what a great artist to pay tribute to the music of his day by doing an album with so many great covers. Even going way back in my collection to the Manish Boys to listen to 'I Pity the Fool' although another cover you can just hear and sense not only a great musician but a musician with real soul and commitment to his art. The world is definitely a worse place today. I feel violated and robbed. R.I.P. my Hero. For I think there is not one artist that has truly influenced my life the way you have. Thank you for all the great music and songs.

The big charities get the lions share the majority of the time & sadly a lot is lost on needless things & not where it should be spent!

I have had two emails about Bowie art today and one was actually nice but Global Art Traders was the one that was too much for me and you can always do what I did... UNSUBSCRIBE. Not worth the complaint and any business should be tracking this and be aware that they seem desperate.

Rip I understand this point of view but I think many people have just become too politically correct. When musicians die people automatically go to iTunes or any retailer and buy their music. Just look at Motorhead last week who had NEVER been on any music chart and suddenly they are. I also had about 5 emails from LP retailers and those I have mixed feelings about, but then I did buy Blackstar last week and have been listening to it - maybe today a bit differently.
