Harland Miller Prints, by daniel3886 on Aug 20, 2016 16:38:18 GMT 1, Recently picked this up from WhiteCube: Really like this one. Almost seems un-Harland Miller with such a positive message. Are you sure he did it?
I spoke to them yesterday they're down to their last two prints both of which are framed. Blonde but not forgotten is now sold out.

Harland Miller Prints, by charliem on Aug 21, 2016 14:27:41 GMT 1, Because of the long delay with the one at blain southern, Harland Miller is putting some hand finishing on them. Think there is some still available.

Think there is some still available. Any idea if all the ones that have been already ordered are been hand fishished? This is part of the email in received from the gallery. The good news is that effectively all your clients will receive a hand finished edition rather than a simple 15 layer colour edition, which is a definite bonus.

Harland Miller Prints, by mawk on Aug 22, 2016 17:56:48 GMT 1, If you are waiting for a HF version you've had a right touch. The hand finished print ive seen are like originals. I received an email from BlainSouthern today about the 'hand finished ' Millers
"Thanks for the email. The print s took a few weeks extra to complete as Harland hand finished a very very small section. This, in my view is not a hand finished print and will not be considered a HFP proper. We have 4 works left priced at £6500 + tax"
So kinda hand finished, but only a tiny bit, and I'm guessing from this reply that they won't be recorded as hand finished on the Bill of Sale receipt. Still, better than nothing

They tend to be quite expensive but they're small editions and exceptional quality. You have to double take to think they're not originals. Well worth buying if you find a slogan you relate to.

Better than not hand finished at all.... Folk should still be chuffed who've got these.

Harland Miller Prints, by mawk on Aug 22, 2016 19:22:35 GMT 1, He pumps out a lot of prints! Are they all that expensive at source? Blain Southern is the source of these particular prints. I believe these started at £3600 excluding VAT, but go up in value as the edition sells out.
He used to sell A/P's through his International Lonely Guy website, but it is no longer on-line

Both are great but the hand finished ones seem to be more interesting. Apart from the normal HF'n on the main part of the print mine has doodles of penguins and random quotes around the border.

Harland Miller Prints, by retiredmafia on Aug 24, 2016 3:06:55 GMT 1, Some great pieces here. Here's mine.

Funny how we haven't seen a 2 posts of the same print, maybe because of their low editions... I'm interested to see how different people frame the same print.
I can see why people don't dig Harland Miller - just some (witty/rude/romantic/funny) words on paper. But some people just like some (witty/rude/romantic/funny) words on paper on their walls.
I really regret not getting a couple more of his work when they were on sale on international lonely guy.

Absolutely! I've never been a massive HM follower but I just love seeing pics of any art up on the wall in a personal context. Some great pics here!

Harland Miller Prints, by badgersurf on Aug 24, 2016 8:45:18 GMT 1, So if they won't be official hand finished versions are they still worth the £6.5k + VAT? The original Prints were never claimed to be hand finished, this is something that has come up recently. Is it worth £6.5K plus Vat, that is up to you to decide, if you like the print and want it on your wall then yes, if you don't like it and will not have it on your wall then no!
