Harland Miller Prints, by firstimer on Mar 30, 2017 14:39:47 GMT 1, It's interesting to me that day in day out we see multiple works for sale on this forum by banksy/invader/stick but HM is becoming more and more rare to come by has anyone else noticed that on the for sale thread here?
I wonder if either HM fans actually genuinely like their work, or they are saving it to see if his prices surge greatly after his ten year anniversary later this year. Thoughts? I think it's a bit of boh.

Is that true though ? If you take the last 6 months of FS do you really get less HM than Invader or Stik say ?
Reason I ask is because I have found buying Invader prints (not mags and maps)increasingly difficult in the last 12-18 months already, not because of price but because of scarcity.

You can still get a lot of HM prints from source, unlike banksy/invader/stik where you need to buy from galleries/forum.

I have seen a few at source, higher tier (of course), but not many. I would love some links or direction. I am very new to the HM game. Love his stuff, never pulled the trigger. Any info appreciated. Many thanks.

Harland Miller Prints, by John The Badgers on Mar 30, 2017 19:21:50 GMT 1, Hi Anotone, not the most experienced on here, but found Reflex Gallery over in Amsterdam really helpful. I'm on a budget, and certainly like Millers work, so a big commitment, but they had a few bits to chose from. I managed to get a great print, at a reasonable level. If you want any contacts there, just PM me, no problem.

I'm not overly motivated by whether prices go up or down, more how much enjoyment you get from something which is enjoyed hanging on the wall where you live.

Harland Miller Prints, by firstimer on Mar 31, 2017 8:04:08 GMT 1, Yup! Precisely I personally think that's the beauty of HM. Owners of his work genuinely love their pieces and rarely sell. I think what I was getting at moreso by saying this is we don't see anything like the number of sales in the secondary market when compared to Stik/Banksy and such. It's a (very) nice bonus that his work is appreciating in value so greatly.

Harland Miller Prints, by firstimer on Apr 8, 2017 15:21:13 GMT 1, Second art purchase. Second Harland Miller
Miller's words behind the HF AP: "i was going to paint the surrounding white area a sliver or grey and tried it out in that corner - i changed my mind but thought it looked great like that so decided to leave it"
Looking forward to its arrival. Any forum members based in LA with advice on framers for a job like this wouldn't go unappreciated.

Any forum members based in LA with advice on framers for a job like this wouldn't go unappreciated. Doug the framing devil. Pretty well known in the art community and one of the few guys that can hand paint/custom make frames as well. Obviously everything done to conservation standards. He's handled uber expensive Warhols to your household family photos. Great pricing but somewhat long turnaround times as he has a loyal following.
With a piece like this simple is better so any reputable framer will do. The standard off-white floated or matted will do. The work will speak for itself so basic framing will do. Spend the money on optium if you can.
