Yeah, its the same. The silk part just refers to the material/mesh used for the screen print. I didn't actually mean to differentiate between the two. He may use silk, he may use polyester mesh, doesn't really make a difference, it's the exact same process.

My conclusion about the gicleรฉ hand finished versions is that they are of a different size than the main edition and it wouldn't make sens to screen print a unique piece with screenprinting method and then heavily modify it, guess you barely see anything of the actual print since they look extensively hand finished. But I havnt seen them in person so its only speculations.

Having said that, somebody paid over ยฃ4000 for a hand finished 6" x 4" postcard at the recent-ish Art On A Postcard auction so Harland's prices are pretty high right now.

I remember my mother thinking I was crazy buying these. After seeing the rise in value over the last two years, now she calls me on the phone... "Hey son, what's he selling these days? Anything I'd like?!" I converted my 65 year old Indian mother Planning on buying my second piece. Was looking at Hirst/Banksy but something keeps drawing me to another HM. I have around 6k gbp to spend. Unsigned Banksy, one of the larger edition Hirsts, or a HM? Thoughts you guys?
