I should have added The Day Today as that is now a classic, imho anyway .....

By the way I thought it was great, it was just the wife keep giving me sideways glances haha. I had to keep saying "This is just so unnecessary!"

Was thinking about this one.... Well worth it, q. Written and show run by Alan Ball directly after American Beauty. Superb characterisation and storytelling. Not an action piece but superb writing and performances that really take you under the skin of the characters. I'd say it's mine and Mrs HBs second favourite of all time after The Sopranos. |

I bought the complete X Files episodes too from the beginning to the end. I haven't watched the new series yet though. X Files depends on the mood as some episodes verge on horror and others more light hearted and spooky.
Minder, Lovejoy, The X Files, The Lone Gunmen, The Invaders, Department S, The Man From Uncle, Minder and Lovejoy are two of my all time favorites. Minder was a classic and one always felt safe knowing terry Mcann was out there. I bought the complete X Files episodes too from the beginning to the end. I haven't watched the new series yet though.
