The first season was gripping, full of twists and turns that left me wanting more. (I've not felt that way about a show since the earlier series of 24 aired) Season two seems a little slow in comparison. (so far)

As for recent offerings, Escape From Donnemura was excellent after a slow start.
If you are lucky enough not to have seen any of Black Mirror then go watch every episode and watch them as fast as you can because they are all superb in an excellent/horrific/surreal/superb kind of way
On a lighter note, the latest series of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia has its ups and downs but overall I felt was pretty good, series ends on a particular high albeit different vibe to the usual theme of the series
