Brexit, by Daniel Silk on Mar 15, 2017 10:37:38 GMT 1,
With article 50 starting before the end of this month, how long do you think the process will take? I feel it's gonna be much faster then the set two years. I would say less than a year, and I wonder if even within 6 month is possible. What do you think?

Brexit, by Deleted on Mar 15, 2017 20:42:24 GMT 1, It's a filthy stinking dirty rotten mess and a complete farce. From teh lies spouted by Johnson and Farage to the complet apathy by Jezzer Corbyn Trotsky.
With lawyers making millions from these negotiations, I won't be surprised if it's dragged on for at least two years or to the max.
It won't affect the wealthy, just the low earning taxpayers who pay for all this shit.

Brexit, by Fake on Mar 15, 2017 21:46:26 GMT 1, It will take more than the 2 years... The EU wants to make it difficult for the UK so other EU county's won't dare to leave and follow the UK.
We here in the Netherlands just had our exit polls and the "right wing populists" lost big time. So we will have a pro EU parlement the next 4 years.

Also to me it looked like they were misled by the leave campaigners and people like Farage who is a very good speaker and salesman and who makes non existant promises and plays with words.
After Brexit, how will the UK government deal with all the people from the EU countries that refuse to leave the UK.? The UK government has ignored illegal immigrants for years. Blair basically gave them all an unofficial amnesty, so rounding up Europeans and kicking them out I very much doubt will be anything more than a fiasco. I guess the government will tell all the EU citizens in the UK after Brexit is complete to register and apply for a visa or to return to their country of origin in Europe and reapply or some form of impossible task.
The Brexit leave campaign was saying too many migrants from europe and saying at the same time that after the UK leaves Europe, the UK can then start taking more migrants from non EU countries.
Peugeot that big French car company buying Vauxhall knowing about Brexit is interesting, in that if the negotiations get to the blackmail stage Britain vs EU, that Peugeot, could say if it's not in the Frances favour, that they could close down the Vauxhall plant in UK.
The recent budget putting up costs for low earners is only the beginning.

I keep reading in the media about countries already saying they are confident they can sign trade deals with the UK within about 8 months. I think if the EU can't sort things out within a time that suits us, then it will become a no deal situation and we walk away to sign better deals with a list of countries across the world.

I thought we had got past that stage of discussion, coz the vote result was leave due to a large extent the uninformed politicians in Westminster and Europe, plus the London media being totally out of touch with the feelings of the people.

" The poor and stupid are the ones who voted to leave?
So are you implying that your rich and intelligent?"
Fake said nothing of the kind Daniel.
Nice try though with your response which is the usual pro Brexit response spouted by the likes of Farge and his underlings etc that the spoil sports are the wealthy pro European Union types.
Yes indeed the leave campaign misled the the low waged. I watched the whole Brexit results from start to finhs and the leave votes in Labour areas and areas of low wages and high unemployment voted to leave.
In case you haven't noticed, the low income make up the majority of UK voters. I would say also some middle income voted to leave the EU but it wa sthe majority low income group who swung the election in the leave campaigns favour.
As for "poor and stupid" your words voters.
I am certain that many votes came from uninformed people who voted what their community or other leaders told them to vote for. Some facts below.
We have this for example. muslimsforbritainorg.wordpress.com/signatories/
"By leaving the European Union, Britain would be free to make its own free trade deals with commonwealth countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh and India."
muslimsforbritainorg.wordpress.com/
" We are proud of the spirited and passionate case Muslims for Britain supporters and activists made from across the country. We thank them for the hundreds of hours of campaigning they did over the last few months. We worked together taking our optimistic and hopeful message: from house to house, neighbourhood to neighbourhood and city to city. We particularly welcome the results in the following areas where we had strong representation: Bradford, Dewsbury, Sheffield, Bury, Pendle, Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall, Worcester, Nottingham, Derby, High Wycombe, and Woking."
Plus we had good old Marxist Ed Rubber Face Burger Chomper Miliband who made a speech saying he would prevent eastern europeans moving to UK and taking peoples jobs. Which is similar to what Farge said about too many eastern europeans in UK taking peoples jobs etc.
No problem with that rhetoric, why should people have a problem with all that.
After all, it's what Trump is saying in the US and i'm sure pro Brexit voters agree with Trump on that policy.

Iโm glad heโs gone. I get why leavers arenโt happy about a soft brexit as itโs been labelled but 48% of people voted against it so you canโt go brexit at any cost. You have to compromise because it wasnโt a landslide.

Brexit, by rebate on Jul 9, 2018 23:06:37 GMT 1, Bit longer than six months then. Did expect them to get the hammer down on it asap, but they couldnt organise a pizza without it arriving divided.
I think its going to get tossed back to the people if they cant sort it out, she wont be around long, and i doubt the tories will get away with planting someone else in her boots. The infighting to be top dog will tear them to shreds. I will enjoy watching it though.
