Brexit, by rebate on Sept 4, 2019 15:22:12 GMT 1, Big swamp, at this rate, should be empty inside of a month. Not sure who they will be putting up at the election. Yeah, let’s not forget that if labour are not keen on an election it’s not because they are after the greater good , but most likely because they figure they would still loose.... ...which is honestly nothing short of amazing To be fair, as a solid Corbyn fan, i have no idea who would win. The votes may split all over the place and the media have done a fine job of smearing Corbyn to the masses who have lapped it up like the slaves they like to be.
Anything that doesnt involve the tories, be it a full labour gov or even a rainbow coalition without tories or the farrage clowns, we should be fine. And lets be fair, the tories are making dam sure they have no credibility left in any way shape or form, so i see a pretty rosy picture building.

Labour don't want a GE until No Deal is completely off the table. I'd say that is for the greater good.
Playing politics, they don't want an election before Johnson fails to take us out of the EU on the 31st October. I.e. before the Tory party completely implodes.

I don’t think that’s right matt. I think the problem for labour, who have been asking for GE for a long time, is one of timing. If they voted for an election, the date of the election would be entirely for the PM to decide. He could choose to hold it at a time before 31 Oct, closing Parliament and thwarting any chance of preventing a no deal. PM could give assurances that he won’t. But they don’t trust him, and I understand why.

Even BOJO's brother has walked away saying im fucked if im backing this loon, hes going to ruin the country. Not sure how much louder a message you could really need, but hey ho.

Made it perfectly clear that an election will be agreed as soon as it is guaranteed that PM can’t use closure of Parliament for election to sneak through a no deal Brexit. This is so abundantly clear and reasonable I’m angered that Tory MP’s are still talking this bs.

That was a test of resilience of the democratic institutions of the country. So far, the ruling means that the test was passed.
Nevertheless, the ruling being based on “intent” (they declared prorogation null and void “because it had the purpose of stymying parliament”), and intent being probably the hardest thing to prove in a court (albeit we all know why BoJo did it, since even his own ministers have called the lie), I would not be too surprised if the UK Supreme Court were to overturn this ruling.
Btw, note that in a fully a democratic parliamentary country, i.e. one with a president guarantor of the constitution and expression of a super majority - rather than a country with an unelected, undemocratic, monarch, with more conflicts of interest than family members - the prorogation problem almost surely would not have been there in the first place... just saying 😉
