Brexit, by rebate on Oct 19, 2019 15:42:37 GMT 1, Dam, missed that bit! Thats great news! They obviously knew what the process was going to be, but its nice to know it is that easy! Court ruling assumed of course. Boris has already written two letters and already told Macron et al about to expect them both He also stood up about 20 minutes ago and said he wouldnt send any letter to the EU. Thats one of the many problems with bojo, he all bullshit and bluster.

Brexit, by rebate on Oct 19, 2019 15:47:29 GMT 1, Interesting one from the great oracle that was today due to celebrate world domination (from a very very small island in a fkin massive world!), but is instead forced to eat large slices of humble pie. "its all going rather fekin badly right now...... This is getting boring and apologise to all board members worldwide for this nonsense All you have done today is cost a lot more money waste a bit more time What you have not done is stop anything. I apologise once again and apply to close this thread until the 1st of november. Me? what am i an MP or something lol.
Nice to see you have realised how this has ruined brexit for you, but pretty sad to see you want now to totally shut down debate on the issue. Thats a pretty sad way to accept you are losing. As bojo would confirm after HIS failed prorogation.
No point in apologising to the board, thats as obvious as it is hollow. You want out now its all totally screwed up for you.

I am quite relieved he hasn't been able to bully his way through it.
I do wish Labour would do something to replace their leader so we can have a bit of opposition
Hasn't he made his position pretty untenable.
I have an idea, lets have a second referendum?
Huh Huh? Lets have a vote on it!!!

Rightly or wrongly, the voting public do not view him kindly. Id prefer to put it to the test.
Although i dont fully disagree, i think its a huge lost opportunity if he is bullied out by the lies of the press. He hasnt put a foot wrong, but the media has done a solid hatchet job on him none the less. While we have the biggest bullshitter and manipulative ego maniac in number 10 who they fully support.
Shame so many cant see straight through it, but it is what it is.
A GE and more tory rule will give a different focus for a great many of those people though.

Brexit, by drip on Oct 19, 2019 22:26:25 GMT 1, I still find it fascinating that the Leave campaign basically got to offer things that they were not in a position to ever offer or negotiate. It's a bit like Coca Cola making a load of adverts for a new fizzy drink that not only lowers your cholesterol, but also cures diabetes, reverses the effects of ageing and cures impotence. Then about half the people went 'Yeah! We want that!, then Coke said to Toyota 'Make that for the public yeah? Ta.'

Putting to the test, as you put it, will only hand the Tories another 5 years. You’ve got to ask yourself, is that more or less important than Corby’s position? I share your fondness of him, but the damage is done. May I ask you, if there was to be a new party leader, who would you choose? Corbyn. Which i think covers everything.

Why do hypothetical? this is real life.
There are a lot of good labour MP's many have some of the qualities in Corbyn, he is however STILL the best person for the job by a long way. Why talk bollox, when its the pubic that need to open their eyes and see the hatchet job he has had done on him.

yeah big lolz, you basically want 10% of your cake and to have the rest trodden into the ground in front of you because the media thinks you should. Congrats.
You also dont have much to comment on, after borrowing this patronising crap from JRM's book of 1800's insults. "Your purblined loyalty is already abundantly clear."

Probably better to have a word with yourself, ive got nothing left to say to you.

I say this as a Labour (and Corbyn) supporter, but the progression and escalation of the conversation between you two this evening is a perfect reflection of why Labour will sadly not win a majority at the next election.
Time to stop arguing amongst ourselves when we have so much in common.

Brexit, by drip on Oct 20, 2019 0:49:00 GMT 1, Brexit's also a bit like the "Burn your house down" party and the "Things stay as they are" party arranged a vote, and the "Burn your house down" party narrowly won, and are now asking everyone to just get behind the burning, and are irritated to find that non-burny people still find the burning to be slightly f*cking mental. I mean...….there was a vote! Whatever damage you thought the burning might do before the vote, there was a vote! Your concerns must now melt away. *burns* *hurty* It’s so easy to forget that this is all so utterly unnecessary. Yeah. And it's quite remarkable how years of xenophobic scapegoating to distract from our own internal economic and societal problems, including years of austerity/inequality and the average person feeling like their life is unfairly hard and there's nothing in society for them, has combined with an overreaction from the Conservatives believing they would lose their monopoly on right-leaning voters (thanks UKIP), which then gave foreign powers the opportunity to meddle and destabilize the country, and in turn has revealed just how unqualified and unknowledgeable our own MPs and MEPs are in matters of both UK and EU law, trade and economics.

Brexit, by Daylight Robber on Oct 20, 2019 8:37:05 GMT 1, Was half expecting this morning to wake to the news that Boris was dead in a ditch. It turns out he's just another Trump Man Baby who thinks that not signing the letter, whilst sending another will persuade the EU.
The EU aren't daft. They know Johnson wasn't elected by the people. They know that Parliament is sovereign. They know that the deal needs to be scrutinised properly by parliament and if they deny us that opportunity then they'll be the fall guys when it all goes tits up.
They'll sit on the letter for just as long as it takes until they grant the extension.

To an extension? To another referendum? To leaving with a deal which keeps us in the CU and SM? To a vote of no confidence? To a General Election? To what? Because it doesn't look or feel like it will be leaving deal or no deal on the 31st October
Parliament will make plenty of amendments to the bill as it progresses. They simply have to. There's no consensus there for the deal as it stands, or for no deal. There's not many ways out of this now for the geniuses who's plan to circumnavigate the Benn Bill was an unsigned photocopy.

Brexit, by rebate on Oct 20, 2019 12:11:20 GMT 1, Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock tic tic boom more like as it explodes fully in his face.
Speaker to decide if they can even resubmit the vote into tomorrows business. All the preperation bills will be amendable, so they can lace it with a second ref anytime they want.
Bojo's letter is due to be looked at by the courts for contempt.
"its all going rather fekn badly for bwexit and bojo right about now"
