Theresa May seeks General Election, by Daniel Silk on May 30, 2017 20:55:08 GMT 1, What do people think the turnout will be? Are the conservative voters confident enough of a win not to bother voting? Are the Labour voters think they can get enough out to swing it for a win? Could it all catch everyone's interest in the last few days and the turnout is bigger than expected?

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 30, 2017 21:40:07 GMT 1, i predict the unexpected outcome that the polls are rigged, the media full of shite and the result is a solid labour win.
Corbyn has a tide of support from new voters and newly registered, he has been fantastic to watch in action, partly as he keeps his composure, stands by his beliefs and is always solid and restrained in his actions.
May is coming apart at the seams regularly, has managed to put a pile of her support off, and regularly proves she is only capable of undermining herself. Everytime she says strong and stable now, she will lose another voter!
i still think a huge swing to labour in the polls (yougov most likely) in an attempt to keep the Labour voters sat at home in expectation of a landslide. That was their fear for the Tory faithful when May had 30 point lead.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by tartarus on May 31, 2017 13:30:34 GMT 1, interesting to see, not that im a fan of polls. That graph would suggest labour are taking votes from everyone. it also shows a fantastic turn of pace when it comes to those lines converging. looks like the data stops around May 22nd too. not exactly been a good week for her either.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by Coach on May 31, 2017 13:31:54 GMT 1,
If that's accurate (a big if with recent polls) then at least it won't be the massive landslide that was predicted when the sneaky ("there will be no snap election"!) snap election was called. I think May was expecting such a landslide. That said I thought I heard that some pundits are now predicting a hung parliament again?!

Lots of young new voters registering. Bodes well for the left.

May thought she would get a landslide, and she probably would have got one until she decided she was in such a strong position that she could take free school meals away from children, restrict the winter heating allowance for pensioners and make people sell their houses to pay for dementia care...
Cannot be overstated how bad a move that was and how many people who would have voted Tory will not do so now.

I think all of that has also coincided with a general improvement in the publics perception of Corbyn. I've heard mention by many people recently that they are now listening to what he has to say, and that they agree with it. He no longer seems to be the unelectable Corbyn that many people thought he was some months and even weeks ago.

I remember being in their position having grown up under thatcher. The fact that they have jumped into politics which is soo uncool, shows they have done it with a passion and determination for change if you ask me.
100% glad to see Corbyn going to the debate!! do you think May has yet another U-Turn in her?
i think the latest yougov results are suggesting hung parliament at the moment. probably the least reliable of all the polls mind you!
May has a week of disasters ahead and JC will no doubt keep hitting it out of the park.
plus of course!! PEOPLE POWER!!!!!

Theresa May seeks General Election, by Daniel Silk on Jun 1, 2017 12:58:47 GMT 1, At this time, with The Brexit Negotiations I think all politicians should be concentrating on getting the very best deal for this country and the all the people who voted for them. So sad to see so many backstabbing each other, twisting the truth and even telling lies, just to score a few points in the media world. This is one time when they should all work together for the good of the country.

I don't think the negotiations have started yet. I could be wrong.

Its totally unacceptable to me.
