Theresa May seeks General Election, by thugs on Jun 3, 2017 16:06:47 GMT 1, more lies from the maybot on last nights bbc question time.
may stated that shadow home secretary diane abbott "wants to wipe the records of criminals and terrorists from the dna database. that would mean that we could catch fewer criminals and fewer terrorists".
this is an outright lie. here's an extract from abbott's interview on the andrew marr show last week...

Theresa May seeks General Election, by thugs on Jun 3, 2017 16:27:52 GMT 1, some months ago, i had little or no confidence in jeremy corbyn's ability to successfully lead the labour party, let alone win a general election, though i should add that i have never once doubted his policies or character.
since then, not only has he managed to completely redefine the labour party, he's proved himself to be measured, intelligent, unflappable, compassionate, and - above all - genuine.
i can't recall a moment in my lifetime where we've been given the opportunity to elect a prime minister of this caliber.
don't let this incredible opportunity pass us by, vote labour.

Certainly looks like LibDem, UKIP, SNP, Green, voters all switched to Conservative but mostly Labour as soon as the election was called.

I much prefer this Tory campaign video. Especially the banging tune at the end.
Edit - bugger, just noticed someone beat me to this!

Theresa May seeks General Election, by Deleted on Jun 6, 2017 20:01:16 GMT 1, The way I see it is that Corbyn is only Labour leader because of the momentum campaign where thousands signed up to join the Labour party to elect Corbyn.
80% of standing Labour MP's voted no confidence in Corbyn as Leader. 172 MP's against and 40 MP's for Corbyn.
www.newstatesman.com/politics/staggers/2016/06/labour-mps-pass-vote-no-confidence-jeremy-corbyn-what-happens-now
I think a lot of people who voted Labour in the last General Election when Miliband was the leader. Will switch their vote to Conservative or Liberal. High unemployment regions will probably gain Labour votes and young voters will vote Labour I would guess. I cannot see Labour re generating areas of high unemployment.
Even though the terror attacks happened under the Tory's watch, and May's government has to take some responsibility. I think voters will still feel that the Conservative government will now respond strongly if re elected and also be more pro active regarding immigration and securing the UK's borders by employing staff who do their job correctly rather than the type of staff emplyed by the previous Labour government at border immigration control who had leftist pro migrants agenda.
All in all Labour should get well and truly trounced in this election as Labour voters will be showing their support or confidence or no confidence in Corbyn and all he stands for.
The Tories could pick up a few votes in Scotland too by Scots who are against another Scottish independance referendum in the near future.
I can't see the Conservatives losing but I can see Labour failing miserably.

Theresa May seeks General Election, by artislove on Jun 7, 2017 0:53:18 GMT 1, I am really p----- O--. I have been raving on at my students about wanting to own a Banksy print, and saw my chance with the Election offer. Then it was thwarted by the powers that be. What the hell....... I shall post my ballot paper here anyway. I teach Art and Artisan crafts to adults that are in rural isolation, and those that have been told all there lives, by teachers etc, that they are just not artistic. To see the wonder on the faces of these people when the realise that they can create artwork is amazing.
One last thought, For the sake of the country and peoples wellbeing, let us all hope that Labour wins the election. I urge everyone out there to get out and vote. Graffiti artists... keep doing what you do. To Banksy..... the world is a better place with you in it.

Very much enjoyed reading your post. What a great and rewarding job. I've been told all my life that I have no artistic talent. But recently I've been looking out for adult lessons in art, just because I think I'll enjoy trying, regardless of the results. Your post has inspired me to increase my efforts. Vote. Vote labour!

Theresa May seeks General Election, by Deleted on Jun 7, 2017 15:52:46 GMT 1, I still haven't decided which way to vote, (even though I haven't registered to vote)
What would be the one most important factor that would persuade me to vote for any one of the political parties ?

I don't think you're alone, well you are a bit of a dick for not registering, but allowing for that
Its a tough election
i would say the biggest thing is that Conservatives don't give as**t so thats them out.
Lib Dems, dont stand a chance and i heard his bacon sandwiches are undercooked, so best not vote them
labour just got rid of Abbot, thats a good sign, vote for them
EDIT, I just thought about it in depth ( one minute) the most important factor for me why i would not vote Conservative is My Children.
