I think this tease shows that hopefully we will see a new direction. By "long awaited" he might mean that he's waited a long time for it.  He definitely isn't the toot your own horn kind.

Is anyone else on the forum planning on going? I'll be there but will have to be about an hour late because I observe the Sabbath and will be off electricity until 7:45 pm saturday night. Would be really cool to meet some forum members!

Sounds like a massive show though, hoping to see some new originality and not more of the same recycled images. Also interested in the turn out for the show. I imagine after the Blink182 collaborations he picked up a lot of new SoCal followers. |

DFace "Happy Never Ending" solo show, by Deleted on Sept 20, 2017 18:41:33 GMT 1, Dface has even started using Instagram stories to try and add to the hype when we all know he's never given a toss about trying to interact on social media .... tbh I can't say I'm that impressed with his new work seems like he's just rehashing the same old crap.
And I've noticed he's got a team of kids "studio assistants" all in their early 20's to help produce these new pieces.
Good luck to him but I won't be buying any of it, also I've been offered tonnes of the work that hasn't sold in his last 2 shows.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm assuming one of the prints will be this image, but only because the owner of the gallery included it in her signature for the email for the show. But would really love to know too! Especially because he painted this mural on the side of a building in LA by the 10 freeway last year. But who knows? |
