I would definitely get everything out of coinbase it’s horrible. They freeze coins and charge high fees.

I use coinbase for adding fiat then move it straight to a Jaxx wallet. From here you can use shapeshift to trade crypto.

Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Dec 12, 2017 23:06:36 GMT 1, Honestly I would hodl until at least March of next year. Buy anything in the top 10 on coinmarketcap which works for you. Check the supply, don’t be put off by price thinking you’ve missed the boat, put in small amounts that you can afford. These things have barely left the starting blocks right now and if you have the nerve, wait.
Traders are the ones who tend to get their fingers burned and lose all their money in the end (even if they brag about being incredible and better than everybody else on forums)

You're an expert.
Here is a question.
Why are only 21 million bitcoins being mined? Why stop at 21 million?
What is the difference technically and physically between bitcoin and ethereum?
What gives one more value than the other?

I know you catch a lot of flack in this thread for being one of the non-supporters of bitcoin and cryptos and I will say that I appreciate your input, as abrasive and harsh as it may seem. I personally have recently pulled out my initial investment (thankfully after making a strong profit) and now I am basically playing with house money. I think this is the best advice that I have seen you offer thus far. This is the most volatile market there is (besides going to Vegas and rolling the dice) but in volatile markets there exists opportunity to both lose, or make money. I remain wary of the crypto market as a whole, however I do think it is here to stay. Regulations, changes, hacks etc. may all play roles at some point, but in the meantime, its not the worst idea to put 1-2% of your portfolio into cryptos as your "risky" investment.
I welcome your continued comments/advice because one of the most important aspects of investing is to hear and understand every argument for (and against) any potential investment

Bitcoin, by Sliding on the Walls on Dec 14, 2017 18:30:54 GMT 1, Satoshi proposed a system for electronic transactions with Bitcoin, but it's being used as an alternative to keeping money in the bank by more and more people (myself included)
The advice of taking out initial investments is very wise, even if there are current all time highs being reached so often it's more unusual to have days when it's NOT making gains.

So your investment advice is:
"make sure you get your original capital back out"
Either it's a good investment or it's a bad investment. Either you should sell all or buy more if you can afford it.
Your "advice" is typical of inexperienced amateurs who attempt to inflict emotional bias on others.

Playing with house money is the best, starting buying coins I would not normally because why not, every once in awhile it is fun to take a gamble and doing so with profits made is that much more fun. Even if I don't necessarily believe it will increase I can take the chance just in case because we've all missed a boat here and there before.

Bitcoin, by woodman on Dec 15, 2017 23:15:09 GMT 1, Highflyer - I thought a few pages ago you had no interest in this Bitcoin or any Crypto, so my question is why do you keep clicking on this thread and commenting on it? It seems to be the same on any Banksy thread too. Surely if you don't like the subject in the first place, or don't have anything to say with some substance to the post, don't fecking bother??? Do you have something missing in your life or just some sort of troll.....
