Banksy Golf Sale Print, by ROLLINS on Jun 1, 2007 22:17:22 GMT 1, I bought a Monkey Queen and Golf sale at the same time from POW back in 2003 and my GS is un-numbered or signed.
Should I be worried that my GS is outside the run??
I heard that they used to over run and give them away to people.
If I sent it back would they number it for me??

Banksy Golf Sale Print, by carpetbelly on Feb 6, 2008 16:15:25 GMT 1, Errr I just rang my home insurance company and without being able to tell them if it was signed or unsigned they wouldnt even give me a rough estimate of price for insurance on my banksy print...
Anyone got any rough ideas for either? I do believe it's a signed and numbered piece I bought at an Art Republic underground exhibition in brighton quite a few years ago but I'm not sure (about the signature hehe and obv not at home at the moment).
What's really annoying is I only renewed my house insurance about 1month ago and I have a horrible feeling this is going to push it up. I never realised my banksy could be worth much to anyone but me.

Well, if Bonhams has anything to go by then about ยฃ12k... To value it at ยฃ12k rather than ยฃ5/6/7k it'd go for on ebay at the moment won't cost you too much more, it'll save you revaluing it in 6 months / a year and will mean if the worst comes to the worst you'll have a bit left over from an insurance payout after you've replaced it

If you want I'm sure insurance of ยฃ7k is adequate for the moment, you should be able to pick up a replacement for close to that from ebay if anything happened.

I don't mind, I just want to make sure anything I have is easily replaced if necessary. After all, that's what's insurance is for isn't it.

Would there have been a stamp on the art work from that long ago?
I've had a chat with the misses and she thinks it might be best to sell what I have and then I can put that money towards a signed one which would definately be a preference for me as well, I mean, who wouldnt want a signed print.
And how would be the best way of going about selling a piece or two? ebay i presume? Damn late night whiskey sessions, kids are gonna put a stop to this a bit hehe
