I have recently had my weston super mare print re framed and i was just wandering how much you guys reckon it wold sell for.
I is unsigned and numbered. I don't want to sell it and have no intention of selling it in the near future as love to see it everytime i walk up the stairs but was just wandering how much its worth now?!

But there was one that went for ยฃ1250 on Oct 21, so it's probably around there. With the frame job, ยฃ1300 - ยฃ1350 would be a pretty good guesstimate.
(Kal976 can probably give you a much better answer than I can)

i guess like everyone i wish i had bought some more back when i could get hold of them easily! oh well

I bought my girlfriend a signed Weston Super Mare many years ago from POW, unfortunatley she has lost her job and has had to sell it on Ebay to generate some cash (she's gutted by the way), the buyer has raised doubts about it's authenticity beacuse it is signed by Banksy in pen and NOT pencil. Can anyone shed any light on as to why it's in pen and not pencil. It's 100% authentic with POW provenance, we just need to convince the seller it is so. Thanks, Andy H

If you still have their name and contact details ( from the e-bay transaction), and they were the original purchaser from POW, you should be able to get POW to verify that they were the original owners, and you have your e-bay transaction... hey presto, a full papertrail for the print. If you no longer have their details, then you may be able to get their name from old bank statments / CC statments from your bank ( assuming you know which month etc you bought the print). If you dont have any real details for POW to confirm, not sure what you can do.... |

Where does this information come from? As far as I am aware, POW does not authenticate on the basis of photographs of prints. It is just not possible to do so.

anyone know which way up the the numbering on a weston-super-mare print should be mines at the bottom right but reads top to bottom rather than right to left, is this mormal or do i need to cosh the little rat i purchased it off with a pow print tube full of lead.......peace to all
