Rather than spending all that time looking for examples of a this print framed up... you can see and post examples in this thread! This will allow everyone on the board to have a look at what other people have done with each print to see how different mats, frames, and mountings look for each individual print. This should be a good way to save time from searching all over, plus it will give you some nice ideas for your Banksy!
Feel free to add photos of your framed example in each of the appropriate threads, there is a "Framed" thread under each print listed in the 'Banksy Limited Edition Prints' section. To keep each thread manageable and on topic, please refrain from commenting. Also, remember to resize images that may be oversized so everyone can have a proper look at your framing work!

Banksy Love Rat Print, by drhouse on Apr 28, 2008 16:42:10 GMT 1, I have a signed Banksy Love Rat I am reluctantly putting up for sale. I'm also planning to put it on ebay, but I am offering it here first so it goes to a good home
I am not the registered owner, but I have the POW receipt and details of the original owner which i will post out with the piece.
It was originally framed using acid free tape, but this has been removed and you can only notice it if you look reeeeeally closely (ie with a magnifying glass maybe).
I will send pictures to anyone wishing to see it (next to todays paper if required, as I know some people prefer this).
I think I have covered everything, but if not please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.
Any offers please PM me.

I'm not in a selling mood, but would like to freshen up my signed Banksy collection, so am putting a feeler out to see if anyone would be interested swapping their signed Banksy (not CND, J&J or Napalm, and no rats!) for my signed Love Rat (I'm the original purchaser and have full prov).
My ideal swap would be if someone has a Grin Reaper they're getting bored with. Love Rat has generally sold at a higher price, mainly as it's a smaller run (150 signed v 300 GRs), plus it's an older print and of course an iconic Banksy image - last eBay sale for LR was ยฃ5k, last GR was a surprisingly low ยฃ3.8k, but as the one pushing for the swap solely on the basis of the art itself this is something I can live with.
To add an extra element, I also have signed Stop & Search and colour Trollies which I'd consider including one of in a deal 'trading up' to say a signed Barcode - or even all three to trade up to a signed Happy Choppers - one can but dream!! ;D

Thing is although Banksy didn't sign the whole batch together and even though his signature has changed over the years, there are some characteristics that remain. for instance the pencil running from the 'A' to the 'N' should start the N at the bottom, not the top!
Here is a good example of a signed 'Love Rat' (Stamp on left)
Here's the one on Ebay (Stamp on right)
Two other things to consider;
1. Although POW were a little haphazard in stamping the prints, from what I have seen of these all the unsigned had the stamp on the right and all the signed had it on the left, the only two signed I have seen with the stamp on the right as well as the signature have looked fake!(Too big a coincidence IMO)
2. No one has bid on it yet, and starting at ยฃ3.5k is a good price!
I beleive that whoever is selling has the details of a numbered print (ie the original registered buyer) a fake signature has been applied and the number changed! This is only my opinion and I know others will think differently, but I wouldn't touch this print with yours, let alone mine! Regardless of provenance, it stinks!
