If you go to a dealer who has been in business for 10+ years they don't care, if you try to sell on the forum to someone they will fucking shit themselves and tell you it is worthless. |

Even funnier...it was a gangsta rat price check. Newer member said a gallery sold a love rat and was priced at ยฃ12.5k so that's what it must be worth and therefore what the Gangsta Rat must be worth.

Ha ha.....glad to have brought some laughter to your life today. Especially with the weather we are having.
I used that terminology as the post re the print selling for that amount was made on a public forum by someone I don't know, so have no way of corroborating. And it suited me right. But I tried to quantify by saying it may not have......without disparaging the poster.
I could have said nothing.....but it gave me the impetus to post a for sale ad. And rather than saying make me an offer I gave a guide. You can obviously pull me up on the fact that X amount for a poster is way too much, but I'm not sure I did much wrong.
As regards to posting ยฃ10k; if that had been the last thing I read on the valuation then that's a decision I would have had to make.
It's no big deal.........when I bought these 10+years ago that's all they were.....glorified posters with a message that resonated. Now that they have this kind of value it's obviously going to create some emotion.....that's art for you
