First, it were shown in Baden-Baden ( maybe where the owner lives ) and it was an official " show " ( show is a bign, only the frame and a little movie - B.movie ) , as Banksy authorized it ( I have the details, but on a paper ), ans the poster that they made, with copyright etc... Just they had not to sell it on the web.
Then ( for security reason I guess ) it has been moved to Stuttgart, and it will stay there for ever . Knowing German people ( they are cool indeed, but straight ) and this kind of Contemporary Museum, this is very serious and they won't take the risk to make an unauthorised " exhibition "... So this is more than legal I guess. ( I just would like to know if the poster - not the poster, the member that have been poster - , could tell us if there is a copyright or everything else written behind the canvas etc... )
This one, anyway, looks a bit like a gadget, even if a canvas is funny ! Did i wrote ok ( or you lost ? lol )

Dude...it's unauthorised. The owner obviously gave permission as they have the canvas !, but the show has absolutely nothing to do with Banksy other than his work is in it. |

I always thought that the big turning point for him was the NYC residency in 2013. That gave him daily coverage (for a month I think) on all major news outlets worldwide. I think that it is when Banksy became a household name and demand went crazy. I remember my grandma asking if I had seen Banksy in NYC 😊
