Ben Eine punched girlfriend at gallery after cheating claims, by Gurn on Jul 19, 2018 8:54:22 GMT 1, And somehow people are still trying to excuse or defend his behavior and/or the support for his art. Someone even compared him to Picasso! Here's what one writer said about Picasso... ""Women," Pablo Picasso once proclaimed, "are machines for suffering." Throughout his lifetime, he did his best to prove that true. Compulsively unfaithful, Picasso collected models, slept with them, and brutalized them, alternating icy control โ he demanded submissiveness in all things, and warned one woman, Francoise Gilot, that as far as he was concerned, women were "either goddesses or doormats" โ with horrific physical violence. Picasso pinned Gilot to a bridge railing and threatened to throw her into the river for seeming "ungrateful;" when she tried to leave, he held a lit cigarette to her cheek to brand her. He forced Dora Maar to physically fight Marie-Therese Walter, the mother of his child, for his affections โ he stayed in the room throughout the brawl, painting โ and beat Maar into unconsciousness himself on at least one occasion. "
You're right, it was foolish of me to compare the two (though it wasn't really a comparison). Picasso actually appears to have been much worse!

Ben Eine punched girlfriend at gallery after cheating claims, by daedalus372 on Jul 19, 2018 9:31:55 GMT 1, Well, in case anyone got the wrong idea from what I said, I'm not trying to defend him.
In fact there is no defending someone who chooses to punch any woman, let alone punching a woman when her back is turned. He is a Cnut's Cnut.
I just wondered where everyone got their info that she as pregnant too, because i can't find it anywhere.
And for anyone asking why i care and if it matters... Well, yeah, the truth matters.

Ben Eine punched girlfriend at gallery after cheating claims, by Inknart on Jul 19, 2018 16:12:47 GMT 1, My Working Class Hero Print arrived yesterday. Now the decision to frame it, hold it, or stomp it and email gallery letting them know it got pretty "beat up" in transit and ask for a refund.

Mine went to the framer before I was aware of this conviction. Difficult decision, for me.

Ben Eine punched girlfriend at gallery after cheating claims, by moron on Jul 20, 2018 15:04:08 GMT 1, That's a shocking read about Picasso. I knew he was a bit of a bully to some women but not as bad as that. I think the book it comes from will be a good read.
