On another note, Drink, drugs, gambling e.t.c is no excuse for it either. I can see his point though. No one of course condones violence against women. It is surprising though that people expect Street Artists to be upstanding citizens. Should we expect the art we hang on our walls to be a reflection of ourselves or the artist themselves or both? I have the Love postcards hanging in front of the toilet, but I don't think I'll be taking it down. Is this a reflection of how I feel about domestic violence? I don't think so. But if he were to murder a toddler, I feel that it would be heading straight for the trash. What does that say about me?

Artists need to be authentic to what they're producing. Love doesn't = Domestic violence. IMO he's shite. Not sure where you're going with the toddler analogy? |

To be honest i don't really want to get into a long debate about this, as i was just pointing out, this is not normal behaviour. How many times do we all have to bite our tongue when the Mrs says something we don't like. I don't see his point at all. Violence is violence no matter what way you look at it. We just had a 14 year old girl beaten to death in May over in Ireland, and two 13 year old boys have been charged with her murder. No wonder things like this happen when adults are carrying like this and more to the point, so called celebrities. |
