Additional information about the artwork:
The print was given (not sold) to my friend, and from memory this was just after the print release sold out. It came via a relationship with someone directly connected to POW and was described at the time as an โoffโ print.
Print dimensions: 65.2 x 49.9mm
Condition โ there are three noticeable condition issues: 1. Darkening of the paper to the bottom LH 3rd. At some point the frame was damaged and the glass broke whilst being stored. The area that has discoloured is in the location of the broken piece of glass. 2. There are 3 noticeable marks that run vertically down the RH side to the right of the balloon. They appear to be at regular intervals and could possibly be why this print never made the grade? They are more noticeable on the rear. 3. The print is slightly wavey. I would guess this was due to the previous framing and humidity, although happy to be corrected.

Test prints are normally the same as the main edition but there are some test prints that were done then changed for the main addition.
There is an A1 version of VLH which is different to the main edition which was released as it didn't get the go ahead to print until the changes were made. I know of 2 of these which managed to get out before the batch got destroyed. There may be more.....
Nola also had test prints done with different colourways until they settled for 2 main editions and then the super limited colourways sold to private collectors i think if i remember correctly. Different colour rains like neon yellow and orange, multicoloured rain ( raffle prize ) and some other colours which i have forgotten now....

Do you think most of these "Backdoor" prints were leaked from the Printer or POW?
Have any other artists had issues with unauthorized prints leaking out? Or is it just a Banksy issue?

off a forum member. I believe it to be a back door Banksy Turfwar. With it being a back door print then Pest Control wonโt give a COA.
the paper and print looks very consistent with a real one and other screen prints issued by PoW. There is a story of how it came into the persons possession I boight it from that is plausible but I cannot give anymore comfort to it being a real back door other than that.
very much a case of buying an affordable Banksy for your own pleasure. Opem
to offers. Believe I paid ยฃ1200 for it perhaps 8-10 years ago. Ill
try and find the cost etc.
Happy to meet in person to trade. In London next weeked
