Banksy Police Riot Van • Gift Print, by rockbeer on Nov 19, 2020 21:04:25 GMT 1, grrr, I’m 100% correct - there was a restricted crew area with changing rooms etc. Access to it was restricted by wristband and members of the public were not permitted entry. I was on site on numerous days - maybe a dozen or so - and received a unique wristband each day I was there.
There was another crew area which was more tightly restricted to entry with a cloth band.
These are facts. I know, I was there.
Happy to post pics of my bands later but it’s inconvenient right now.

Banksy Police Riot Van • Gift Print, by rockbeer on Nov 19, 2020 21:22:33 GMT 1, Well I can tell you this - although obviously there’s no telling some people.
Yes, I was staff. Were you? Yes, I was in the crew changing etc. area every day I worked. Yes, I needed the relevant day’s wristband to get in there, either from outside or inside the exhibition - obviously a different band to the ones given to the public, or everyone and their dog would have been in there looking for ‘free art’ and stealing phones.
Honestly, grrr, you’re funny - and wrong. I was there. I have the bands. Just let it go.
Or do you think staff access was controlled by mouse ears? That would show just how much you know.
Now I’ve already said more than I intended, so people can make up their own minds between my first hand experience and your unsupported assertions.

Banksy Police Riot Van • Gift Print, by rockbeer on Nov 24, 2020 10:11:01 GMT 1, No, I don't really have time for this nonsense either – though who needs to dop the growing up is debatable. Aggression is of course a common response when backed into a corner, but it's still a disappointing and dispiriting response.
I can't see any point in posting pictures of my bands. It wouldn't matter what bands I posted, you'd say they were the same as the ones given to the public and how could I prove otherwise?
Besides, pictures of staff bands are already all over the internet. Here for example: www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/official-dismaland-ultimate-bundle-1784144071
and here: www.auctionzip.com/auction-lot/STAFF-WRISTBANDS:_0AF4B1E806/
and here: www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/dismaland-program-staff-wristbands-1784075425
I have around a dozen bands, some like the ones in the above pictures, some different. But I don't imagine you'll be convinced. I don't imagine anything will convince you – though your refusal to discuss the inner door is revealing. You can't deny the door existed, because everyone knows it did. Therefore, either access had to be managed somehow or it would have been a free for all. Everyone knows this. So... access was either managed by wristband or by some other method. I can see your dilemma. If you acknowledge it was by wristband then you have to accept that staff wristbands were different to the public ones. But if you deny access was by wristband then you have to offer some plausible alternative which everyone knows didn't exist.
I'll leave you to puzzle that one out. I'm out of here.

All those paper wristbands are the same as the ones given to visitors lots of people on this forum would of visited dismaland and received paper wristbands the same as this. The only two wristbands which were specifically for staff were the two cloth ones in your first image the black one and the red and gold one which I mentioned in an earlier post. Do you know what the red and gold one was for? The only reason I can think that you would be so desperate to say the paper wristbands were for staff only is if in the past you had bought a gift print and were trying to use these as a method of authenticity? i had a gold one .. staff band got in to exhibit no queuing free food ect few other things 😬 edit not sure about food remember eating pizza lots ... don’t think i needed band cockney charm go’s a long way ....

Banksy Police Riot Van • Gift Print, by Patrick 01 on May 3, 2022 20:01:39 GMT 1, Prices for these peaked at £20-£22k when the market was strongest. Why anyone would pay more than they would for a PC certified work just doesn’t make sense. If Flags and WSM are selling for under £20k these should be selling for £12k max now. The market just isn’t what it was.

Banksy Police Riot Van • Gift Print, by LJCal on Feb 3, 2023 0:15:01 GMT 1, I doubt that, these were that level when the market was crazy, I think people will be more careful about paying big money for unauthenticated works now (not questioning the authenticity just saying pc won't offer COA). Always tough to price but I guess £8-10k. These have varying degrees of hand finishing I believe so that impacts price. Anyone buying just be aware these are harder to shift than other b prints with COA as most auction houses won't offer them.
