Banksy Police Riot Van โข Gift Print, by smj43 on Dec 17, 2023 17:50:41 GMT 1, Iโve decided to sell my Police Riot Van aka Dismaland gift print. Complete with original frame (print was removed and stored in flat file) and provenance in the form of staff payslip. This particular print has got a very high level of โhand finishingโ to it, more than Iโve seen on any other out there. Of course it is also signed and dedicated to the staff member it was originally gifted to. UK based, collection preferred but will ship at buyers expense. Open to offers.

Iโve seen some with no hand finishing other than a cross-out on the girls eyes on the slide. Iโve not seen many that have as much as this one (CND, Anarchy and Face) all hand drawn by the man himself. |

I have the ugly grey frame still, although the print has never been stored in it. It would literally offer no protection whatsoever, it doesnโt even have glass!

You know, I buy prints since 2011, they did not came with COA then ( it was a mail most of the time, with the price to pay : all the Invader per example ) .
And look, Catastrowiki and others are selling fakes with COA ! Just a signed paper. ๐
You should ask the poster how he got it, from which steward, etc.. Maybe contact the steward. The poster should have the reference.
I donโt see the interest to make fake ones of those, they are so special, and printed at a low ex.

That process you've described, seems like an unbelievable hassle to buy .... and a true nightmare to sell later COAs that arent from pest control are worthless , obviously They're not that difficult to authenticate, exactly the same process as about 50% of other secondary pieces in my collection that don't come with a COA. These aren't for all buyers especially those not confident enough to authenticate, but they're also about half the price of the cheapest signed print and hand finished. I have no doubt in 10-15 years or so you'll see these at major auction houses. |
