I got a confirmation email today (exactly 1 year later to the day - weird) that it had been approved. I've paid my £69 and now I wait to receive the certificate - I hear this can easily take 2-3 months - will report back when I receive it for those who are still waiting.
Got an email today, I applied in March 2022. Original owner of same print.
So 11 months wait for me.
Said expect COA in 28 days, but that could be delayed.

COA delivered today, within the 28 days quoted since paying Pest Control for it. Well worth the wait.

Got an email from Christie's 10 minutes ago saying the just received the COA for the "Duck and Cover" they currently have at auction. So seems like PC might be batch processing and a few of the GDP certificates are landing now...

End of 2019, I contacted Pest Control, for some prints bought on Ebay. The prints didn't look like originals to me... but my big brother.. insisted on seeing if they were and so I contacted them. They replied after 6 months (October 2019 - February 2020) telling me that unfortunately those prints were not by Banksy (as I imagined).
So of others who responded after a few months (2-3) and others who responded after a year. Evidently, they have a heavy workload, and in some moments they waste more time. I think it's a "home office", that is, a place run by someone who also takes care of other things in life.
I don't think it's a real control and traceability office.
Good luck with your requests!... Even if it's very difficult... it doesn't mean that a dream can come true for you! 🍀

I believe, that if you don't sell or buy now, your certificate remains unchanged.
If you have a work by Banksy, which has already been certified before the reissue of the new certification, you will not be issued a new certificate. I also seem to have read it somewhere but now I can't remember where.

I had a piece in the Sotheby’s auction last month. In the pre-sale it stated they would get the new PC COA and take the charge off the sales proceeds. The print didn't sell and it's back with me now waiting for the market to pick up. It is my personal preference to have the new style PC COA on file so I don't face the same issue the next time I try to sell. Happy? I'd be astonished if you were on here as long as Silky. The auction house shouldn't have to pay it. Maybe it's just easier for them to push that cost onto the seller up-front rather than telling the eventual buyer after they've won it?
That said, my view is that the buyer should pay for it.
