He's basically given them away for free. He's literally changed peoples lives. I don't only love his art i totally respect him as a person.

I don't only love his art i totally respect him as a person. it seemed like part of his goal for the GDP lottery was to get pieces into the hands of people with low incomes. there was some language about that in the rules. based on that, i don't think he cares if certain people sell these. i think he was basically giving a windfall to people who were struggling financially. he's really incredible. |

Perhaps they weren't brave enough to take this on without COA?
Something just doesn't sit well with me over this. A significant piece sold through mid-road auctioneers?

Over £100k is a hell of a lot of money for pretty much anyone! I suppose it all depends on the circumstances of the owners, some people could sell and have enough money to buy a house, others maybe wouldn’t desperately need the cash and will hold onto the prints. Will definitely be interesting to see what happens with the price of this print going forwards!
