A month after receiving the Banksy Love Welcomes Mat I received a letter from Fedex inviting me to pay 50 euros (15 euros for administrative fees + 32 euros for import VAT and 3 euros corresponding to the VAT on 20% administration fees (!) )

They ask me a lot for all Obey prints i order from obey shop online,
I never pay them, and after 1 years of letters, they stop to ask me to pay . I cannot wait to have my mat in hand 🤗

So instead of loose time, after one year of letter of harassment, they cancel all bill,
But other company like UPS or DHL they delivery only if you pay in advance online …

Yes, you'll get another couple of notifications telling you date of delivery. Mine took another 8 or 9 days to arrive after first notification.

Remember that GDP promised disappointment. My mat arrived, a week later I got the notification that it had been posted out. Dreadful service and nothing less than I had expected.

He’s been passed on the lottery every time, where i was lucky twice, and I had to convince him not to buy one on the secondary market without spoiling the surprise. Nice thing is he just closed on a condo so it was the perfect bday/house warming gift.

For most products the VAT rate in the Netherlands is 21% however for stuff like food and art the rate is 9%. Guess they valued this as art and not as a doormat |
