I support BLM. Even went to protests during the day before they became reasons to destroy property, loot and steal from each other. Itโs detracted from the movement.
Iโm for police reform. I canโt stand police brutality. Been a victim of that myself as well and I know people who have died from it. It needs to change.

The crime that was committed , was the use of a fake $20
In these circumstances there was no justification for the excessive force that resulted in death

He was on the floor in handcuffs with 4 police officers present , the situation was under control
It is the actions that have shocked the public regardless of the character .

Police brutality is real and needs to end. Defunding them is ridiculous. We need to fund them to make sure they all have body cams with audio at all times and more monitoring of all of them and more transparency to end brutality. Reform through transparency which wonโt happen when defunded.
Do I think the cop should die? I believe in due process as Iโve said. And yes. If the death penalty was on the table and I was on the jury. Iโd lobby to put that pos cop to death. Yes. america I would think is the most diverse country on earth in regards to race and cultures ?
of course with the numbers involved ,situations there may be highlighted more than other countries , nothing personal , just an observation.
the same as people from this blm movement will view the situation differently to those of not the same race , the same to any persons home country , people from outside will view different , first hand experience makes a lot of difference in people's perceptions .

It's odd that abc news decided to black out the blood that's dripping from the guy's ear on to the pavement. It's equally odd that the policeman bends down as if to help and then another policeman pulls him away and leaves the guy there bleeding. What a strange world we live in.

I can't imagine the Daily Mail reading Brits, convinced they don't need face masks, being happy to be told all the new rules they have to live with on holiday! The rest of Europe are fairly aligned, and seem to be doing well, so will be interesting to see how it all kicks off !!  |
