The price at hammer was pretty ,much in keeping with the price at other sales in the last year....my print was in mint condition, mind. I am more than happy with what I got back on a 75 quid outlay 16 years ago. For those who say I had my pants pulled down at 10% seller's fee...I tried negotiating before I signed the contract and again this morning after i complained about the way the sale had been conducted.....each time got a resounding no dice.....this is my only Banksy apart from the soup can poster and the XL Keep Left sticker, both of which I prefer to my print, so I'll be keeping them....while I am not over the moon to give Christie's 10%, personally i don't feel like I have been totally had....anyway, I couldn't give a shit....I got loads more dosh than I had yesterday and Banksy is overrated anyway....I'd take my Bast 'Thug' and 3D 'Europa' over the print I once owned any day!!!!! In 2005 my late great father questioned why I would "that shite", I replied Banksy might be famous one day.....I'll drink to you tonight father  Come across some sound people on here in the few days I have been on...nice one and all the best to you and yours....and if anyone wants to sell us a Banksy..........

Lots of people here pretend to be ballers and players. Not that much negotiating can be had with institutions like Christieโs. they havenโt been going for 250 years by submitting to the whims of every dick swinging collector ๐

Question: What is the discrepancy between the nola "yellow w/ red dot" going for 375K GBP with fees before and now 402K GBP? Anyone know?

The figures above also include vat which in the usa you wouldnโt pay (but youโd end up paying a use tax, so itโs not miles off what youโd be all in for). Itโs most helpful when people list with bp and arr (and that 1% fee on Sothebyโs) and let everyone figure their own taxes from there. But Iโm too lazy to take out the calculator 47 times so Iโll just shut it and say thanks.
