This one seems a bit quick realised but who knows: with a stencil you have to be quick ; one spray can pschiiiiiitttt... and hop, it’s done !

It would the coolest ever to find this.

But looking at both pieces, I'm afraid it's a copy.
Monkey is done quite well actually. But the letters don't match up....

dunno the serif lettering looks ok to me. There is a slight margin of error when using a stencil a few times anyway. Need to see straight on for an accurate comparison

it's stencil. Spray has dispersed on the word 'real'. Under the armpits (which you would expect as the stencil here would be just a point of card which is not joined to anything). Those are the main giveaways

I agree with under his arms.  Just the shoulders look like they have really sharp edges, thick layered paint...   Also on the original the red is spray painted, while you can see brushstrokes in the other...  Better pictures would be good.

Poor sod. He won't be getting much sleep until pc respond...

Piss taking aside it looks to me that on the car boot version the white inside the monkey has been painted white. The photos I have of a confirmed Banksy one of these relies on the bare gesso canvas for that.

Wasnt there condition issues with some of these due to the primer/gesso or lack of canvas prep? Or was that other pieces from this time? I recall some having the small cracks and needing restoration.

Just for putting so many doubts here your money has been well spent.
Any one of us would have taken it and thought for a moment that it was an original.

A lot of things look right on that. It could well be the best 105 pounds you will ever spend.
Just an opinion but it looks pretty solid. The lack of overspray would be my one concern as the majority of these (as I recall) had thicker layering. 
They were also from an edition so you might have expected a number on the back of the frame. But the colour stencil, condition (given the backstory against age) and back of the canvas look good. 

When I first saw this post, I was waiting for the found next to a bin in shoreditch line, but this one is actually pretty exciting. Fingers crossed. 🙌🏻

I founded that on this ones, most have been fair, quiet and respectful, not falling in the usual bad tongue, because envy jealousy or just to criticize, this is pretty cool.
Anyway only PC will know. I repeat , just send them s mail they will answer for free.
