I've been on here for ages and I don't know how Pest Control works. I've had Banksy prints but never had to apply for authentication.
There is literally nothing for anyone to lose in following this story. Just see what happens.

It was not to make a mess that I was asking, it’s just that it isn’t really fair : most of the forum helped, answered or was mobilized for the OP - that knew in fact all the procedure ( 100 £ to authenticate etc etc - , and then nothing.
Why just to don’t tell the forum : “ I’m awaiting answered, or I’m busy at the mo, I can’t join us, etc etc .” ..
Maybe PC told the OP to don’t say anything cause it’s a real one ...
But you know we have seen some weird * things on here ahaha !
Anyway I don’t care a bit if real or fake, it’s not mine. And if I am answering it’s just because I am only reading ( and answering ) to last threads...

C. Because the back of the frame was hung against a damp wall but the back of the canvas wasn’t in contact with it? You can see mould on the canvas where it’s wrapped around the frame (so would be against a wall).

A, B, C are all explainable
D is a little odd. If asking for help, surely the tag is the one thing that you'd definitely show (given the tone of the original post). In fact, every side of the thing is shown except for the critical side.
If it was me, I'd also be checking this thread every five minutes... OP hasn't logged on since.

It likely gets authenticated by the original artist in such circumstances, he’ll know the intricacies enough to know it’s his work or not.
