I would rather enjoy something than lock it away praying for market changes . I guess it’s easy to say now but when I sold my signed Gangsta Rat I was more down that it had gone ( due to personal circumstances) over any elation I had with regard to the financial gain .

I would like it to be worth more but it isn’t .
I appreciate fair market value , I know that’s a strange concept for some art flippers haha
Secondly I didn’t buy it because I wanted it, I had a credit to use at Cartier, I had a limited time to spend the money so I bought the easiest thing to resell which is this watch
If I had used the credit to buy a piece of jewellery it would be worth a lot less than £3500 as rings and bracelets don’t have the same sort of secondary market as watches
So I conclusion, I’m selling it for what it’s worth and I bought it because I had to
It’s not a scam, happy to meet face to face etc or send all videos and photos etc

I think I'd like to buy from a business and not an individual. I guess I am at the stage where I am asking an equivalent question as "Is Athena a good place to buy a Banksy?" - which gives some indication of my naïvety and 'vintage'. I'd prefer a medium/large(-sh), automatic watch and pay about £300. A clean uncluttered dial with good night time visibility - but maybe I'm too specific here. Just interested in buying advice - I've read most of the recent posts in the Watches thread. Thanks.
