I need to be budgeting more than ยฃ300. If your budget is ยฃ300 then look for something for ยฃ300. Do you have any brand in particular you like? If itโs just a day watch you need then go shopping, look for something that you like and try them on your wrist to see how they feel. |

Have you looked at smart watches? As well as telling the time, they also show number of steps taken, heart rate, sleep pattern etc. etc. Some also give blood pressure readings and ECG. I have one and I wouldn't be without it.

Seamasters are more of a dress watch, which I like but there are sometimes more sporty vintage ones that pop up. If you go for one check it has other bidders and the watch seller will usually be a watch restorer collector so ask lots of questions. Lots of other vintage makes but I think omegas are a great price these days.

I backed the Cherwell when they started off on Kickstarter back in 2016. It's too big for my scrawny wrist, sadly, but the craftsmanship is top notch for the price. The movements are not the best, but they do good work with what they have and you can't really go wrong for the price. |

Plenty of microbrands use them as they're accurate, reliable and easy to service. I own a bit of watches and if I may recommend something a little different that would fit your budget and use a Seiko movement, check out Relax parody watches, the website is relaxwatchshop.com and they do free shipping worldwide (they're based in the US).

There's something about older watches that I like. Men's watches nowadays are too big for me - standard seems to be 40mm+, whereas this is 30mm. Have a 1930s Omega that I also really like, and a 1970s De Ville. Have about 20 in total now; paid between ยฃ50 and ยฃ750 and get a lot of joy out of them all |

I have the 36mm version of this - it's a great watch, in particular for the summer season. I have some clients who work at a Rolex AD and they told me I had no chance as I have zero spend history. I went grey, but I think the 31mm is more attainable at retail, good luck!

Most certainly, I purchased this baltic last year as I love salmon dials. It did develop a fault but Baltic were amazing at fixing the issue. I would recommend having a look at their range
