After attending for the past four years I will never bother again!
& it’s all down to a complete lack of organisation and the most blatant fact that all those c@nts that jumped the queue were clearly already inside and were working at/for/or friends of stall holders... Kin’Jokers
Today’s Art Car boot was without a doubt one of the most vexing of events I’ve ever been too...

Same here, I was 40ish in the queue and went straight to Polly Morgan after seeing that there was no chance getting a Hirst, and price was £300 already. The Peter Blake prints had also seemingly sold 30 or so before the queue was let in.

I contemplated making the trip from Bristol to get a Polly Morgan but feared I would be shit on, the posts by JKW and sfield have proved me right. Which is a shame.

Art Car Boot Fair, by Wenters on Jun 19, 2011 19:04:49 GMT 1, Started queuing about 8:30pm and was inside the first 25 people....ended up being outside this number when they handed out the raffle tickets but no matter as ended up with one of the last single Hirst prints and an AP from Blake!
Met some great forum members throughout the night and apart from a few 'incidents' with the party goers on Brick Lane and a local resident the time finally passed.
Wonder when we will see the first prints on Ebay....def some people around us that had that intention.
Very tired but very pleased!

I have a feeling that the price may have been £300 pretty much from the start. Could be wrong and I was not there soon enough to be one of the first. It was a bit disconcerting you didn't even get a receipt after handing over your money!
