Have become mildly obsessed with the Discord and the bizarre conversations on it. People asking to be told if theirs is 'good', based on completely meaningless criteria, then being disappointed if it doesn't rate strongly. Get that it's all part of the game of this project, but it's so strange to me.

Makes me further convinced that the NFT world is not for me. I can't imagine caring if my piece has more overlaps than someone else's or paying a premium for one that's tagged for words associated with 'friendship'. It reminds me of swapping trading cards in the playground, which I'm guessing is the appeal to those who love the stats.

After paying the $2000 will there be any more costs incurred later down the line when I would like to swap my NFT for the physical? Does anyone know?

Heni site says any extra costs for delivering the physical piece will be detailed from the 29th. Shipping will definitely be extra. Not yet clear what taxes might have to be paid. 

Genuinely split down the middle now whether to keep mine as an NFT or redeem for the original. I'm glad they give us plenty of time to decide!

I will admit to a little disappointment at having been awarded an almost entirely average piece, numerically speaking, with what I consider a deeply uninspiring title. But that's the luck of the draw, and I really don't consider myself unlucky considering I was picked despite only applying once. And on the plus side, I'm quite taken with the long blue drip in the lower centre.

Like everyone else (apart from those who could afford and were lucky enough to be awarded multiples), I am now entering an official period of obsession over the decision of whether to keep the NFT or exchange for actual art.

The opposite - if there aren't many NFT left after a year, they would gain value due to scarcity.  Unless of course NFTs in general go the way of Beanie Babies (I don't think they will, though a market correction is certainly in the cards).

Just pay heni with your credit card. The only thing you really need MetaMask for is receiving the NFT.

Also using crypto to buy NFTs might bring some unwanted tax issues.

Pretty amazing that Hirst can drop 17-20k new works in a year and not crater his market. I bought my first Hirst and not to sell so assume many are the same but is interesting.

Makes me think that the Banksy market is seeing a temporary drawdown and will be on its way again at some point once enough ownership has transferred

I applied once for one and I was lucky and got the 2am email.
But i can not get the payment to go through. Have had problems before when Stripe are processing the payment.
Each time i try to pay it gets declined. Rang Amex who said it had not been presented. Tried different cards, my wifes and a friends. Again Stripe decline.
Have emailed Heni who told me it is my bank / card rejecting it. Not true.

Anyone have the same issue?
Any advice? My final option feels to buy crypto and try to pay with that?

Have had that before. Try a different browser. When i switched from chrome to firefox it worked for me (on desktop)

I used the metamask app and then it’s in-app browser to go to the Heni page and complete the transaction. It automatically links to the metamask wallet during the payment process if you do it that way.
